      If it doesn't have Super Armor or a field full of empty panels, Air Hockey is the weakness of everything.

  • @TheAzulmagia
    @TheAzulmagia 8 дней назад +4

    Basically, the change was that originally it was (x2 Multiplier) x (x2 Multiplier) x (x2 Multiplier), but it was changed to (x2 Multiplier) + (x2 Multiplier) + (x2 Multiplier).

    It's this way for wood on grass panels in BN6, too. The way I explain it out is that being on the panel adds a second instance of damage, but the damage from the panel is non elemental, so it's not doubled by the weakness.

    I guess it could be considered an additive +1x to the same multiplier.

    Conceptually it sorta makes sense, in BN2 and 3 it was really easy to cheese a lot of elemental boss fights with the 4x multiplier of weakness plus panel bonus, I could see why they didn't want to extend that all the way to an 8x multiplier. I wonder if that's also why ice panels went away entirely in BN5 and were heavily reworked in BN6.

    I had read about someonr talking abiut nerfed multipliers but not with this level of specificty, i think they claimed plast the first x2, you just got +1s instead of doubles.

    Funny enough in BN5 this doesnt particulalrly hit Magnetman. NS Tackle on Sea panel is still 200 x 2 x 2 x 2 for 1600 lol so its super pushable to 2k

      @@Zetsu-IPZ BN5 Protoman have some goofy Navi Chip bursting although Gyroman kinda nukes most of them out of the running in comparison since it powers up with Color Point.
      Its kinda unfortunate BN5 didn't have M code for Aqua Whirl since Magnetman is somewhat close to Gyroman before postgame introduce A30 and Double Point which just push Gyro across the edge(Gyro needs FS, 2 double point and maybe 1-2 pluses. Magnet need Water Panel, FS, and 2 pluses)
      M Code's Mega is still hilariously stacked though

    This is why we use Silver Bullet instead of that puny program advance. One x2 multiplier is more than enough 😎

    • @ProtoDemnProductions
      @ProtoDemnProductions 11 дней назад +5

      Hold on jokes aside, I think I may have a solution here (because I’m a math nerd sometimes)
      I think that the damage from panel types isn’t multiplicative, but rather additive. So instead of giving x2 damage, it simply adds the same amount of damage, which mimics a x2 modifier.
      However, in this case, the damage of Heat Spread would be 300x2x2+300, which adds up to 1500, short by 900 instead of 600. Except, that math is assuming the game follows order of operations, which I think isn’t the case. I think the game calculates panels types between the calculations for element type and full synchro, so instead the calculation order would be PA, x2 Full Sync, PLUS panel, x2 element weakness. This turns the calculation into: ((300x2)+300)x2, for a grand total of 1800 damage, leaving Woodman with 600 HP after the Wood Powder
      Am I right? Probably not. Does figuring out this math make me feel smart? Yes it does lol

    Woodman has 2500 HP?
    Jesus! That’s more health than in BN1 I took him out easily using Fire Towers in that game. But Heat Spread & Grass Stage with the exact same Code or * is the best strategy.
    Is Anti-Wood good against Woodman?

    • @Zetsu-IPZ
      @Zetsu-IPZ  11 дней назад +1

      You're fast... Also, as for your question... Not really, but it does work. The damage of antiwood is not enough to justify its usage if I am being honest.

    • @kolkagaming1234
      @kolkagaming1234 11 дней назад +1

      @ I see?
      Perhaps a few +Wood’s will help.
      I remember witnessing players do a similar Stradegy In BN2 against Toad Man by laying down an Icestage then use Anti-Elec & a Few +Elec’s & Bam! Toad Man deleted.

    • @Zetsu-IPZ
      @Zetsu-IPZ  11 дней назад +1

      @kolkagaming1234 that scenario is when anti chips would be justified. 2x is not useful, but if it was 4x in the case of toadman triggering antielec, then yeah it's much better. You could try to get woodmanDS to use fire chips and trigger antifire tbh.

    • @kolkagaming1234
      @kolkagaming1234 11 дней назад +1

      @ Triggering Antifire from using Blackbomb within my Area which causes Self destruction damage but it won’t because of Antifire right?
      Because Woodman’s attacks are Treelogs & Wood Tower which won’t work unlike Fire Man & Burner Man which upon Heating things up will only cause them to explode. 💥
