I think you're on point with the brandy feel it gives after lime is added! Its been a while since I tasted it but I wondered at the time if it might make a decent sidecar, with the lemon switched out for lime. Its definitely something that would dominate anything you tried to make with it though.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a side car. Just looked it up and looks interesting I may have to give it a go!
