One of my favorite tourist here are Indians, very respectful and they actually learn our country, culture and especially our language. Most of the Indian-Filipino that I've meet on the internet and real life speak fluent Filipino. Whenever I see an Indian in the most isolated islands where it's not a touristy area, it makes my heart happy that they're living their life here in the Philippines like a normal Filipinos do.

Southeast Asian countries like the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia have a lot more in common with our Indian culture, tradition and values than China, Japan or South Korea. That's why I like these countries a lot more than others. Indians always have huge respect for any country that stays true to its roots and its culture as opposed to countries that are westernising day by day. Which is why we like countries from Africa and SEA. PS: the girls are very very very cute in South East Asia.🥰

I greatly appreciate the Indians here in the philippines, they are the few who actually try and integrate into our culture and also make an effort to learn the language. They are the best! 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Indian tourists are way better than East Asians. They're respectful and knows how to adapt other culture just like Filipinos. Indians are always welcome here in the PH.
One reason could be that East Asian countries are largely homogenous, unlike India which is known for diversity. People who are exposed to diversity from a very young age find it easier to adjust in a new environment. Cheers 🥂 from India 🇮🇳

@6:26 I was surprised to learn about a family from our hometown (in Southwestern Philippines) who turned out to be 100% Indian. They not only sounded Filipino but also integrated seamlessly into our community. It was especially interesting to discover one of their daughters became my schoolmate, and I found her as having atypical charming features, until it just clicked after I learned about their Indian heritage. You see, some Pinoys have unique features here and there, be it being Chinito, mestiso, mala-Arabo, etc.😅 I later found out that their great-grandfather was a businessma who ventured here in the Philippines. It's truly fascinating how they've become an integral part of our community, and I initially thought they were just a typical Filipino family.
10 years in the IT industry and I must say, Indians are the most friendly, down to earth and relatable foreigners in the country. We get along so much. I’m a bit concerned in the food though. Most Indians are vegetarians and knowing Philippines, we don’t have that much options , I feel bad for them hoping Philippines would focus on healthier food options.
indians have been in the phils for decades just like the chinese, they were businessmen n settled in the phils. thereis a big community in manila. what surprising for me are the medical students, i can see there are quite a number of them.
Not decades but centuries. The first official record of Indians settling in the Philippines was during the British Invasion of Manila of 1762 where they used Sepoy armies. Eventually when the British withdrew from the Philippines the Indian Sepoys mutinied and chose to stay in the Philippines. Alot converted to the main religion of the Philippines and eventually absorbed in with the filipino culture. Indian mangos were brought to the Philippines by Indian migrants and traders even before Spanish times beyond recorded history, so we could only theorize anything that was going on before then.
There are a lot of these international students in Las Pinas City in Metro Manila. I don't know if it's the same for other schools especially for the ones in U-Belt.
Indian people there’s no comparison to Chinese people. China men brings all kinds of stuff in the Philippines they transport drugs to our country, they make drugs too, they engage in illegal gambling, kidnappings and killings. Our government should ban all Chinese people coming to our country. They are the worst people we have.
actually some East Indians have lived in the Philippines even before WW2. My father had a close friend who was Indian married to a Filipina. This was way back in 60's & 70's when I was growing up. They had a variety store in the city that my family use to visit to purchased some items from their store. There is also a huge community of East Indians living in Manila with their own Temple.
indians actually immerse themselves and embrace filipino culture. i grew up having indian/pakistan classmates and theyre always well off in life and there families mostly own major business in our town. also indians have been constantly trading with filipinos even before the spaniards came. theyre so common in the philippines that i dont consider them as foreigners.
Palawan is my favorite so far. I was born in Manila but grew up in California. Philippines is a very diverse country. I try to go back every other year. However, I will eventually retire in the South Philippines.
I'm from Cebu and I thank Indians for bringing more vegetarian food. I try to eat less meat and sometimes if I want more plant based meals with more flavor, I always hit the nearest Indian restaurant here. Also, I think Indians are one of the unproblematic (most of the time as there are always some bad apples) foreigners in the Philippines.
Indians in Philippines is a normal thing...actually many Filipinos barrow money from them because their business is money lending...so many indian in Philippines helped Filipino too especially the ordinary Filipino family the low income familiy... indians are nice people...they know the culture of Filipino.....I grew up seeing indians around phillipines....I never here or saw indian involved in a crime in the phillipines....i really like indians in the phillipines...
We have a lot of Indian neighbors here in my area. They are usually very respectful and very adaptive, to the point that they speak our native language. A lot of them are already permanent residents here.
Yeah, Its depend with the girl or their culture. I am a Filipino and had meet some Indian girl, they were friendly. Indian girl and Filipino girl are almost the same in terms of attitude and behavior. Its depend, because as a human being each One of us have a different personality.
Great 👍 I forgot to say in my post that I started. Language. Indian 🇮🇳 speakers of Tamil have a slight advantage over the other Indian speakers because Tagalog has some Tamil words although not as much as Indonesian 🇮🇩 or Malay 🇲🇾
I love there are a lot of indians in the Philippines, i get to enjoy authentic indian foods. They are also smart and very hardworking in their studies.
I think you did well with the interviews. Like you said, not scripted and yet you were great in impromptu --- all went smooth. Thanks for sharing. Great job!
Since 2013, I have been a vegetarian living in the Philippines. Whenever I return from traveling abroad, I always prioritize healthier food choices. However, I strongly disagree with the notion that it is difficult to find vegetarian options in my country. Even small kitchenettes and eateries found along the roads sell vegetarian food. Moreover, fancy restaurants often offer a wide range of vegetarian dishes. I am unsure where you obtained the idea that finding vegetarian food is difficult in the Philippines. In fact, even popular malls like SM have vegetarian options in their foodcourts, as per my personal experience.
Everything you said is true. However I have to agree. The Philippines is the least vegetarian friendly country from all the countries visited. Not saying there aren't any options, however when comparing to other nations, I agree with them.
I traveled to the Philippines 🇵🇭 as recent as last year, 2022. That is more of a meat 🍖 eating nation. Yet, I can easily go vegetarian there, even in the rural areas. I ate at Chinese 🍜 restaurants and asked for modifications. The server approved 👌 I even cooked vegetarian 🍎 🥕 dishes from scratch there. 😋 Example. Curry 🍛, pancit 🍜, vegan halo halo 🍨 .
From carinderia to high-end restaurants, there are many veggie dishes you can order. And if you cook at home, specially, it is not hard to be a vegetarian here. All public markets and grocers sell so many different types of vegetables that you can cook according to your taste. From north to south, there is an abundance of locally grown vegetables. And in supermarkets, they even sell imported ones
In terms of food options in karenderia and others, veggies are easily available, I agree with that, but a strict vegan would still have qualms, because we Pinoys still put sahog to our gulay. So I understand their sentiments, since I tried being a strict vegan once, pre-pandemic. We Pinoys just love our meaty sahogs. That's the culprit really 😅
I'm kind of biased. My father was born in India and has family that are Filipino/indian. Very kind and respectful and business minded. Humorous also. Food is amazing 👏
Indian people are very nice. I love their food and Same culture also in the philippines like taking care of there parents and siblings i have lots of indian friend here in canada

Hi Alex!...like usual I enjoyed this video.Always fun listening to these interviews.I find that almost all say how friendly Phillippines is. That's a great thing!! Take care my friend!🇨🇦
The relationship between India and the Philippines goes deep into history. It speaks to that shared history by the fact most Filipinos don't know that former Mayor Ramon Bagatsing and former Speaker of the House Ramon Mitra have Indian ancestry. They are Filipinos as far as the Philippines is concerned.
Indians have been around forever. They usually have their own businesses and are quite well off. Had classmates who were of indian ethnicity and lots of Chinese as well.
Indian are respectful rather than Chinese !!! I personally encountered both race and personally i could tell the difference , Chinese think they are entitled to be rude to others , Indian are so kind and respectful in our country !
As a kid in the 70s (age 7 or 8), for some reason, we were warned to be wary of East Indians. We see those wearing turbans and we start to shout, 'Bumbay! Bumbay!' as if to sound an alarm of danger. Sounds stupid but we were just stupid kids. We didn't see too many East Indians around so seeing one was unusual.
More foreigner interviews please. We love to hear their experiences here in Philippines. I am a Filipino from Manila Philippines. Love your channel ❤❤❤
The reason why Filipinas are easier to talk to and approach compared to Indians is because there is not much social segregation or social division in the Philippines. Filipinos are also naturally friendly. You can talk to almost everyone. I remember a travel advice I got when visiting India is to not smile at strangers cause they may see that as flirting. I was so shocked at that advice because in the Philippines, people are smiley. You can smile and be friendly to people including the opposite sex. It is not necessarily flirting lol. So my advice to some Indian men or men from other conservative cultures (like the muslim countries) if a Filipina smiles at you or talk to you, it doesn't necessarily means she likes you. It's just Filipinos' nature to be friendly and smiley.
Also, they do have a good reputation (as per my immigration friends 😂) , very easy to deal with , surprisingly they can easily adapt to learn local languages like Bisaya, kapampangan 😄
There are so many Indians here since 80s-90s...mostly in bussines, like 5/6, and selling anything that you can pay later...with interest of course...they are good people.❤

Indians are very welcome in philippines they are very respectfull to filipinos...
Yeah, Its depend with the girl or their culture. I am a Filipino and had meet some Indian girl, they were friendly. Indian girl and Filipino girl are almost the same in terms of attitude and behavior. Its depend, because as a human being each One of us have a different personality.
Indians are lighter

Very nice video! It would be interesting if you could do a longer interview with your last guest who was born in the Philippines 😊
It would be. However, he seemed to be on his way somewhere, so I asked rapid questions 😁
I think you did well with the interviews. Like you said, not scripted and yet you were great in impromptu --- all went smooth.
Thanks for sharing. Great job!
Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it
After 10 years they will be here in the US working as a doctor. Education is really big for them as Filipinos..
The server approved 👌
I even cooked vegetarian 🍎 🥕 dishes from scratch there. 😋 Example. Curry 🍛, pancit 🍜, vegan halo halo 🍨 .
Yes I agree the vegetarian foods and meats are easyly find in Philippines.
That's the culprit really 😅
lots of love ❤️ from India 🇮🇳
I'm kind of biased. My father was born in India and has family that are Filipino/indian. Very kind and respectful and business minded. Humorous also. Food is amazing 👏

Glad you enjoyed it Alfred! I too enjoy hearing different peoples thoughts
Many Indians here in Philippines are studying medicine.
Indians have been around forever. They usually have their own businesses and are quite well off. Had classmates who were of indian ethnicity and lots of Chinese as well.
Am from philippines but my daughter is Punjabi indian❤
Indians are one of most respectful foreigner in the philippines i like them more than koreans.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts
You didn't faced racism because North East Indians look like Filipinos :)
I love my Indian friends/workmates.
My colleagues are Indians, I worked in IT industry btw. Theyre great people.
Filipinos they really respect foreigners they look up and treated them as visitors in our country.
Indians are smart kind, and religious people.
indians here in the philippines are good they also adjust to culture of the philippines. pilipino also respect them also❤
Indian are respectful rather than Chinese !!! I personally encountered both race and personally i could tell the difference , Chinese think they are entitled to be rude to others , Indian are so kind and respectful in our country !
Indian people are some of the kindest and smartest people you'll ever meet in your lifetime.

Thank you for sharing 😊
Isn't it a stereotype? 😢
More foreigner interviews please. We love to hear their experiences here in Philippines. I am a Filipino from Manila Philippines. Love your channel ❤❤❤
Thank you!! Lots more coming 😁
The last guy saying contentment is on point. 🎉🎉 to your channel
Thank you!
So many Indians are so smart especially in medicine
As an Indian Man, I approve and endorse this message
