You hate sony phones ,why bother to review then, no phone is perfect and for what sony asking in terms of price this phone is fine.Go and review the over priced Samsung G8.
Brother some people buy phones not rent them,i buy my phones and all i want is 6 inch screen for a affordable price, i do not give a shit about a bloody camera,i don`t buy phones to take photos with.Samsung g8 is the best phone on the market but i am unwilling to spend the money that samsung want for an 6/2 display.
I totally agree I have this phone I got it for 400$ in la curacao Mexican store lol on credit with 20 dollars a month and I love it I also didn't buy it for pictures since I'm to old for selfies but the pictures I take with my kids are gd enough for memory's I also refuse to pay 800 dollars for an iPhone or galaxy and those are old models.. So far this phone has been wonderful its a beast when it comes to battery life and for gaming I get no lack on pubg and grand theft auto san andreas.. I love it before this I had a galaxy6s plus 900🙄 and I see no difference in wat I used them for... Gd review man

Don't buy this phone, because of the camera?!?! Overall this phone is a mid-range phone with Flagship quality. Audio is a little tinny but no worse than the iPhone X or XS. Screen resolution is ridiculously brilliant. Absolutely flawless performance wise. No lag or stutter. I mean the Pros are endless here. Yes the camera is not THEE greatest on the market but a deal breaker??? Not even CLOSE!!! Price is a hair bit too much, as 350-400 would be more in line but for the performance this phone gives and YES it is comparable to Samsung or Apple flagship phones, this phone is fantastic!! Really, giving this a phone a "do not buy" is WAY TOO harsh. Flagship quality for people, who don't need or want a Flagship phone and the price, that comes with one.
I don't know if you caught what I said at the end of the video... When it first came out is was like $450 and for that price I wouldn't recommend it.. if the price dropped and got some bug fixes maybe then... I'm sure the phone has gotten updates and it's a lot better since launch... Im glad your enjoying the phone and thank you for your comment and taking the time to watch the video...

I just got this phone I've been using the XA Ultra before getting the XA2 ultra. In my opinion I feel the XA Ultra camera is better than the XA2 in terms of focus and sharpness. I tried to focus on an object and the camera on the XA2 ultra stays blur when you bring it closer to the camera for a zoom in shot, surprising the camera of the XA Ultra immediately focuses and sharpens the image making it look so much more accurate.
And I dropped it last night 😩

Oh damn another review on WiFi because one of the things I like about my XA2 Ultra is when it displays LTE+ and it is even better when it downloads way faster than other LTE devices I have.
I just bought this Sony XA2 Ultra today. It's pretty solid device,but kinda heavy. Over all it's a great fone. I don't know why u hate it but, people have different taste in smartphones.
I don't hate it... I was disappointed with the performance of the cameras... Has this focussing issue... I really hoped they fixed it by now... Check out the rest of my videos about the XA2 and you can see what I'm talking about

It does... Support USB OTG... It's not stock Android but very close... Updates are ok... Better than others... Besides the camera issues I was having... The phone is great... Especially right now that is cheaper

How is the audio recording issue? I have seen some video sample and it sounds like underwater audio recording.

its not that i don't like the phone... I like it but the cameras need improvement and for the price it was not worth it at that time... if you have the device ... Have they fixed the camera issues?
Gadget Beard i have read the article saying this device's camera could be fixed by software update. You're right, but I think the Nokia 7 Plus or Xiaomi Mi 8 SE were good options for this price point, better and newer processor is a big deal factor because these help the camera to perform well especially in lowlight scenarios.
kakaw Martin well I paid only 200 dollars for this phone brought a month ago. so I don't know why yall are saying price is too much. Overall it's a great phone for me no problem at all

I liked the phone, until just after 4 months the back camera and light decided to stop working. Notified Sony because I bought it new off Amazon. Yeah well, no dice. Not covered. Trying to take pictures with the selfie cam as a regular cam, I dropped the phone with a case for the first time. Glass broke. I'm pissed. Not only this, but over the past 4 mo it's been dropping calls. The volume is great, however sometimes it's just not working at all. The great camera they brag about is completely unnecessary and just more problems. Best thing is the screen, and the speaker. Why do you think it's only 225$ already in 2018. Pissed me off and I'm done with it. I should have known by the major price drop.
My experiences with sony have not been great... Don't know how much longer I'll continue to buy them... Lol
I have this phone its great overall but it lacks on the camera focus. One major draw there is no support for VoLTE (Voice over LTE) for T-Mobile. Even though that Sony website states it has VoLTE. . To make a call the phone makes the call over 3G or HSPA+. Which I sometimes I have difficult hearing the other person on the phone.
I love Sony! proud C3 and Xperia XZ owner here..But i hate their XA1 it has problems with touchscreen analog for gaming and the phone overheats after 5mins of recording videos. Holy xhit so XA2 ultra has factory defect too? Sorry for my bad english xD

What happen with you bro.. You review about the phone but didn't no how to disable auto capture camera? Go to setting and off the auto capture.. Better you stick with samsuing or appleoo. Lol

No! I really like phones from Sony , but they always seem to fall short... The audio quality is good and the bezels are big but don't bother me..

For camera quality, look at GSM arena photo comparison to iPhone xs max, it has more crisp sharpness than the iPhone at max zoom therefore it is an amazing camera. It's no for taking food food pictures like basic iPhone users but at outdoor scenery it killlls... Also the shutter button can be disabled under camera settings called quick launch. Again the camera is phenomenal and it kills when you actually use a test

Honest review. The camera software should be improved with time. I use to have the same issues with the Sony Xperia XZ1. The updates came quick and fixed the issue. Obviously out of all their phones, the one will fall on the lower priority. It will happen though. As far the as the price, man...you can find this phone like on newegg at times around 380. I just purchased mine 2 weeks ago on Ebay from seller darqstar_07 for 370. He will have the phone listed at 410 but he will have the offer him option. Just checked today, he has another unit listed. Im sure he will take that offer. Shipping was quick and havent had any issues. besides the camera issues, the phone is boss. The phone is a champ in battery life. Drains 2-3% overnight and im currently at 48 hours on this life cycle and still have 30% left with 7 hours and 50 min screen on time on T-Mobile network.

Sony xa2 ultra is really stand up the most camera phone.. And Nicely phone ever.. Itsvreally nice to use smooth and big like over all.. I buy now.. Thats why i know it.. Internet is good finger print is faster... This guy maybe hate sony.. Sony is license and wellknown as well.

There is no android that does good on Snapchat. It’s the app not the phone. Snapchat is highly optimized on iOS and uses the phone’s camera. On android, it uses its own built in camera. Except the google pixel phone and it’s still not better than the iOS one. If you love Snapchat that much stick with iPhone, if you’re like me who doesn’t even have Snapchat get an android.
