May I ask if you care to know the fact that Native Americans population in their motherland, the Continent of America before European Colonizers arrived was around 15 millions, while the European population in their motherland, Continent of Europe was around 25 millions.
Today, Native Americans population in their motherland is 15 million, while the European population, in the Continent of America + Europe, is a staggering 'TWO BILLIONS'!
For instance, 200 years ago here in the USA, around 3 million Germans came, and now there are 65 millions German-Americans; while 150 years ago, around 2 millions Irish came, and now there are 45 million Irish-Americans. While 500 years ago there were estimated to be 5 to 6 millions indigenous Native Americans in the USA, before Christopher Columbus arrived, today there are only around 2 million indigenous Native Americans survived.
Imagine this scenario, if Native American people cross the Atlantic, invade and Colonize Europe, and slaughter most Europeans, and put the remaining populations in tiny reservations, for 500 long years. How would Europeans feel about it? Think about it.
All they need is their beloved motherland back, the lands that their ancestors' forebears had lived through thick and thin, endured through hardships and all for generations.
Besides, indigenous Native Americans in Colonized lands of Anglo British, Spaniard and others are more of the same. Kill the indigenous Natives and whoever is left, marginalize them and create artificial poverty, once that poverty becomes crime and drinking, the media points to the poor and blames them to continue to stigmatize the 'other' community, scumbags, etc.
Amazing fact that Indigenous Natives had built such great civilizations as Mayan, Inca and Aztec without outside help, and all from scratch, and all on their own, since they had been cut off from the rest of the world for twenty thousand years. In other words, they actually are great and proud people.
Imagine what it would be like today if Native Americans had possessed some sort of nuclear weapons to defend themselves, and their beloved motherlands from invaders Colonizers? The answer is they would still have their own beloved motherlands, plus their population comparable to that of the European population.
In my humble opinion, it's about time to decolonize the Colonized lands, and return it to rightful owners Native American people. Notorious global cardinal crimes the West has committed, and benefited a great deals, such as Slavery & Colonialism had long been over, why on earth is notorious Colonization still lingering on, may I ask? 😔

If you don't like it leave, i really don't understand why they insist on staying in the Commonwealth and maintaining a foreigner as your monarch, if it's really going to be an issue, it's not like the Brits are going to re-invade and re-annex. And Barbados' move is so disingenuous, leave altogether, don't just half ass it and remain. And the tax haven part, again is that the policy that the British imposed? If not, i don't see how that's the fault of Britain and the monarchy.

I like the monarchy. They have no real power, cost little, and it's nice to have those big, public diplomatic relationships that can go on for decades vs. the short term stuff politicians do. I prefer them this length. Any longer and I know it would be hard for me to make time to learn about this complex and multi-layered topic. I often have to skip videos that are longer than 15 minutes on RUclips because I just don't have the time to wade through the content to find specifically what I'm interested in learning.
As it is, this video in part of a larger series about the British Monarchy. Overall, I believe it has over an hour's worth of content. Each video however is less than 15 minutes, which is how it should be. Think of it like a chapter in a longer book. Would you want to read a 300 page book with no chapter divisions? I know I wouldn't.

Confronting historical truths is something that should be normalized and not sidelined in the name of "offending feelings" anymore. Long story short itswas and still is a way for UK to project soft power and always have open markets to buy and sell staff from. Every single war happens for access to markets to sell stuff and raw materials. To the small countries of the commonwealth is better for them to stay in it for the bigger states it would be easier to let go of it but at the end whom wouldn't want to have good relationship with one of the most powerful economies in the world
