This track sounds like something written during the God Hates us All sessions but just didnt have the lyrical content to make the album. The tones and instrumentation sound phenomenal though, its almost like having all the perfect ingredients for a good dish but then your daughter comes in and tries to make a pizza out of all of it
I can't get into this Kerry king solo stuff i guess i am hoping for a new slayer album some where down the line

Just curious not being any type of way just what is your top recommendation of the best stuff out right now to compare how this is not that good.
it's not about what's better, it's just personal preference. I would take any Kreator song over this in the thrash world, they still have high energy. I'm also typically into more extreme metal like deathmetal and deathcore. This isn't bad, just feels very run of the mill to me.

Completely agree with your thoughts. I will add that I have always felt Kerry was the junior partner in Slayer. Hanneman spent more time constructing and develop melodies that made the songs even heavier. Seemed like King was more interested in chaotic solos and lyrics designed to trigger. Nothing wrong with that, but also not really very advanced. The two new tracks just sound like rehashed B-sides, and Osgueda's vocals have been terrible on every album after The Art of Dying. He just screams and has no melody and here is no exception. DA needs a new singer and MA is perfect for recycled slayer demos.
