My hair actually didn’t dry out, probably because it’s water based. I want to try it again and see how it reacts with a leave in container as well. Got to experiment.

A lot of people have been leaning towards mousses for twist outs instead of other products, especially professional stylist. I find myself liking big mousse and curl custards and creams still though. Thank you for watching and commenting!

Yeah it's interesting because before it was all about heavy thick creams and butters, the thicker the better regardless of how your actual strands look so long as you were a type four. Seeing stuff like your video is refreshing because I'm starting to suspect that stuff doesn't actually work for me so I'm exploring my options!
You’re welcome Cheshire 😊! Yeah I used to be under the impression that if it wasn’t a heavy cream, gel or butter my twist outs wouldn’t come out right on my type 4A hair. I started doing the no raw oils no raw butter thing and I was amazed out how much better my hair started to respond to lighter products. It definitely gave me something to think about when it came to my hair and how much product I think it needed vs using less and getting great results.
I thought I was the only one that didn’t like the smell. I know it smells like the leave in as well 💯

I have a soft spot in my heart for mousse. I like mousse or setting foam for a twist out, but I tend to like using it on my hair texture/porosity as a layer of hold on top of a cream or butter that doesn't have any. Your hair is gorgeous!

@@CammyjOfficial I feel you - a lot of mousses now claim to have built-in conditioning agents, and with mousse being somewhat designed to give light fluffy volume, it makes sense to use it alone. I do so much test driving that it really depends, lol. I recall The Doux Mousse Def and Good Day working well together. I also like the Shea Moisture Red Palm and Coconut Curl Stretch Pudding. The one tip I've heard is to test product combinations in your hand first to see if the consistency turns crumbly/flaky/gross.

Hello 👋🏾! The twists lasted 2 full weeks without any touching up. I was majorly impressed especially since this is the only product I used. Where I live isn’t very humid, but when it was down in southern Florida my twists lasted using leave ins and cream stylers. I would say try it out to really know. Hello 👋🏾! I just used a shampoo and conditioner before this, then sprayed my hair with water then applied the mousse. I don’t recall what I used to wash my hair since this video was over a year ago.

@alexisehimen3795 yes. I separate gently with dry hands. I maintain it by wearing a satin bonnet at night. I also sometimes do a method at night time where I twist my hair up in 4 big sections (the twists are all in the same direction as they were set) and then wear my bonnet.

Idk why hearing it smelled like burnt honey cracked me up. I think it smells sweet but to sweet. Sweet smells make me feel sick. The smell of this makes me feel a little sick. I can put up with it if it works. I see everyone’s hair popping with this.
Watching the end hearing it has that smell has me worried. I don’t like my stuff to have a smell later because if I’m around people I don’t want to up set peoples noise forcing them to smell my hair.

My husband could only smell it when he literally smelled my hair, but wasn’t picking up on the smell otherwise. I really love how this product made my hair look and feel.
