My sister was not a fan of the Pattern hair products. I had purchased the sample kit for her and she stated that all the products had a different smell which she didn't understand since they were all apart of the same collection. I am not a fan of Mielle's Pom and Honey collection. It doesn't do well with my hair, but I love the rosemary and rice water collection.

These products and the scents are horrible…I’m too mature to be walking around smelling like bubble gum and unicorns 😂 I use fragrance free products for that reason. Nice video
I don’t mind fragrance in my hair products, as long as it is light scents and nothing aggressive and heavy. That’s one reason I could not use taraji’s hair care line because it smelled SO BAD and STRONGGGGGGGG. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I remember your video on the Mielle Hawaiian line and the shampoo being a bust. I have the hardest time finding a great shampoo in general which is why I just stick to ACV or clay cleansing. BTW you look awesome. Love the stretched wave you got going boo! ✨💜✨💜✨💜

Hi, I Just begin my natural hair journey and I must say after watching so many RUclips videos how bad I wanted to try the Mielle brand so I went ahead and bought them all,the shampoo, conditioner,Leave In, twist out cream and everything I used from that brand made my hair so dry.. When you mentioned the shampoo and conditioner I couldn't agree more...I used it twice and my hair wasn't feeling it. I have very low porosity hair so I'm looking for moisture..Thank you for sharing this video!

I have low porosity hair as well! I would recommend the wakati shampoo and conditioner or the mane choice easy on the curls shampoo. My hair reacted the same way! I was like my hair isn’t unruly so why is my hair acting like this towards the shampoo and conditioner. Especially since it’s suppose to be meant for low porosity and to give lots of moisture. It didn’t. The only thing I like from mielle is the mint conditioner/rosemary oil and the protein conditioner/protein free conditioner.
Listen..my hair was not feeling it at all. I was surprised because both sets of shampoo and conditioner say they are Detangling and moisturizing. I’ve heard good things about it the deep conditioner and the rosemary oil line. I’ll have to check that out. Thank you for watching and commenting!!

The Mielle pomegranate and honey works wonders for my hair. I LOVE IT! I see it's all about finding what's right for your own hair, bc I was shocked when you went to the Mielle pomegranate and honey shampoo and conditioner saying it didn't work for your natural hair. It leaves my hair feeling so soft, hydrated, and manageable. I've tried so many products that different people here on RUclips use for their natural hair, bc it worked well for them, and most of the time it didn't work well for my hair. I guess since everyone's texture is different, certain products are meant to work for everyone. Even though a lot of shampoos and conditioners will say that it's for all hair types, include natural hair.. but all natural hair isn't the same. My hair isn't as thick, it's very fine and silky.. It's the same texture as a person whose mixed. A small pointer that I would like to add is that if you're one to blow dry your hair after you've washed and conditioned it, it's best to blow dry on medium or low heat. This is from experience.... I used to blow dry my hair on high heat, and when it dried, my hair would feel so dry, and so hard... But when I would take my time and use medium to low heat, it would keep moisture in, and feel normal. It's little things that ppl don't notice that would help their hair become more healthier if it was eliminated, or added...

I struggle with knowing what works and doesn’t work for my hair. For example, if my hair tangles at a certain step, how do I know which product it is if I’ve already used 3 products? 🤔
Hello 👋🏾 Kenya! I start with the process of elimination and take note on how my hair felt at each step. For example, I had a wash day where I tried a shampoo and my hair felt good, soft and I could get my fingers through most areas, when I applied the conditioner and let it sit I noticed when I went to detangle it… my hair wouldn’t budge!!! I was shook LOL 😂. I had to rinse it out and grad a conditioner I normally use and I was able to get the tangles out. Always feel your hair and check for signs of tangling, roughness etc as you go along. This has really helped me weed out what does and doesn’t work for me (product wise) during my wash day. I did watch the Mielle Hawaiian one. I’ve been using it & I think my hair has liked that line. But I do like the scent.
Yeah sis I can’t spend 17 on a brush but I use a tangle teaser faithfully. I literally don’t use gel… or edge control.
