I use two products of jane carter solution "natural twist out foam" and "wrap & roll smooth styling mousse" in my hair. My neice hipped me to this line and I simply love 'em. However, I've never tried to flat twist my hair but will definitely try doing it after watching your video. You made it seem so easy to achieve & do.

I need to try my hand at a whole head flat twist out again.I used to do them when I first went natural but then I got lazy and I kinda forgot how to do them without tangling my hair like crazy. I don't like to separate my hair too much either. I like for my hair to separate itself over the week.

Gurl! Flat twists are bomb asf and I didn’t realize it til I tried it out last week just to get my hair in a protective style without having to spend hours on my hair. Twists/twists outs 😒 Finger coils 💀 Flat twists/twists outs 😇 They gave my hair spiral curls and lasted for a week, much longer than my twists. Granted towards the end of that week my hair was a bit frizzy in the middle, but that’s type four hair for ya 🤷🏽♀️ However, it kept the spiral pattern around majority of my hair. I will never go back to twists and when hell freezes over is when i’ll finger coil my head again... Two days of twisting 😒🤬
Same 😂😂 when I learnt you can get a flat twist out, I’ve never gone back to twists. Mini twists break my hair so much coz they are small. Flat twists are making my hair grow 😊 love them

I’ve got a lot of uneven growth and other mysterious hair issues, but I’m wondering whether or not you have low porosity hair. We use a lot of the same products and I’m gonna try your large perm rod tutorial on dry hair tomorrow.🙋🏾♀️
I try to use the same product line for the entire process if possible. I used their Curl Drench Cleansing Co Wash to cleanse and one of their conditioners but i'm not sure exactly which one.

I'm not sure what you mean? I didn't do any stretching technique. But the flat twist does give you less shrinkage than regular single twists if that's what you are referring to. Thanks for watching!

Are you allowing your hair to fully dry? you might get better definition on dry hair as well. I hope it works!

I try to keep my ends smooth while styling to reduce frizz, but sometimes it happens and that's still ok.
