Not really, he looks as basic as they could have possibly made him and they added a "gamma shield" instead of just his healing factor.
Can't believe he has no boulder toss.
Can't believe he doesn't have a Black Widow to smesh.
Hulk plays a LOT like Winston, you dive in get a pick or pull aggro then if you're on controller it's easier to super jump out of combat
Hulk follows a tried and true archetype. The people saying he’s bad just don’t understand how to play a dive tank.

@@baiwatch1most of them seem like casual players so its understandable. hulk is really difficult it looks like, mechanically you have to aim his abilities and theyre on long cds. his shield is really short but really powerful. magneto has a shield that you aim, but his only works on one person. hulk could theoretically shield everyone from a scarlet witch ult. thats immensely powerful.
his ult also seems really strong, disruptive like a winston ult but even easier to use. aoe clap that does pretty crazy damage, and an insta kill for any squishy with the grab ability. not sure how the stun works, is it aoe? if it is then that might make his ult the best tank ult by far
I hope the devs don't listen to every complaint. A lot of people never played team based games like this and don't know what they're talking about. It being Marvel is going to bring a lot of people new to the genre.

Loving the game rn but my biggest fear about melee characters was right, they actually are just straight up bad compared to the other ranged characters, either their damage is too low or they get shredded instantly
I've seen some dominate but they are much harder to get that value out of I think. No thanks 😂 I'm not doing all that

Yeah see and this is where universe lore meets gameplay. If the hulk isn’t busted, people will say it’s terrible. If he is busted, it makes the gameplay unfair. At the same time, it’s backed by “Well hulk should be that good, he’s the hulk” but it defeats the purpose of the roles feeling manageable lol.
I said it when it first conceptualized and it’s indefinitely one of those b tier laners ran solely by meta. And the meta is movement followed by heavy damage. Sure there can be other picks, but you’re handicapping yourself if you don’t pick the most efficient.

Just for the newer people trying a game like this...I hope people don't argue over characters not having "soloing team" potential. In these games the characters have roles and strategies that work along with them.

i honestly think one of his passives should def be to get a little bit of health generation for himself when he lands a hit, would make him way more viable to play and be more aggresive and increased survivability
As a tank, you need a healer healing you 24/7. That's not an issue with the hulk. If you're in the middle of 5 of them, no tank can self sustain that. ALSO, hulk E can stop almost every ult from going off. Scarlet Witch, Storm, and some other BIG ults that can sway a game. If you have competent healers, i'd say Hulk is S tier.
Hahah Spiderman and loki super tricky and people not liking namor or black panther... from what I'm seeing scarlet witch and star lord dominate right now but it's day 1 of the alpha this all could change but I think the combat characters need a bump in HP they are just too squishy or a slight increase in damage to comp for being in the trench and potentially getting wiped.
Like June said hulk is a decent tank it's kinda tied between groot and strange but strange is better offensively does more damage but you do need a healer regardless of the characters cause any of them can be melted.
I think they just gotta let his stun work like a normal stun. Right now when you stun an enemy they become immune to all damage during it which makes it almost worthless when you’re in the back line and just gives the enemy team more time to take you down. Also maybe have his ult with the grab better since healers can just save whoever you grab with it easily

I think you should be using your jump more often and also try to create a bit more distance when about to take fatal damage and turn into Banner.

Hulk should get passive healing it'd help balance him and it'd be lore accurate
He should have a “gray” health bar that he fills up as he damages enemies or takes damage, and whenever he gets an elim it refills it as real health. That would make it super balanced because you would have to play aggressive to be able to get the healing and also works with storyline, like hulk eliminates someone and gets angry so he regenerate or something

Those animations leave much to be desired. Wow. Punching and running at the same time?? The bottom half totally not in synch with the top half makes the punches look weak. And this is the hulk. Wow. I’m stunned

Idk what these comments are tripping about but Hulk looks weak af.
From what I could see they made his auto attacks as basic vanila as they could, they had no weight to it and it looks sooooo tame. The stun he have by smashing the ground looks tame as well.
He got a bare bone jump...and its like: "sure yeah, whatever", and then his trade mark thunder clap but it seems to shoot out a small green projectile instead of a large aoe attack.
He got the MCU Loki grab which looks pretty cool I guess.
And he can go "mad mode" which I will give them props for to actualy know Hulk gets stronger the madder he is.
But wtf is up with the "gamma shield" and him needing a healer? He has never had a gamma shield in comics and they could have easily switched it out with any of his other trade mark powers, like the fact he got a better healing factor then Wolverine and Deadpool....

I really like the concept of this game. The abilities and stuff look awesome. I’m just a bit disappointed in the graphics and the movement seems clunky. I think it just needs a lot of polishing up tbh and it will be awesome. I really enjoy overwatch. But I can’t lie this seems a lot more like paladins if I’m being honest. I don’t want to really make judgments about it since it’s an alpha. But as of rn it seems kind of mid. Hopefully they improve upon it a lot.

(Btw if a spider man is doing good his dps will be a bit low because he’s targeting swuishys that don’t have as much hp and he’s not just boosting numbers by slapping tanks)
