- Follow me on my DIY journey, as I rework some of the key features of my bathroom which was inherited from a previous owner of our Edwardian house. They did a wonderful job but there was just something that was lacking in the space quite clinical so I’m going to take the time to change some of the finishes around our bathroom in a simple way without damaging what already exists, should I change my mind further, l really hope that you will enjoy some of the ideas and make them your own or at least trigger some inspiration if you find me for this DIY makeover you may see that my other content is generally painted furniture if that’s not your thing and I still urge you to go and watch one of my previous videos. I’d like to think it might just get it you to hit that subscribe button……
This bathroom makeover will be over a series of videos with different projects each week. This being the first one of probably five or six

J, that's quite the undertaking....
but not tearing things out & buying new is so smart ! Your good taste & a can of paint & a roll of paper will transform the pumpkin into a castle ...😂 ... Fans are loving this !
Definitely the right way of doing it saving money to get what you truly love
Hello everyone, I forgot to set it as a premier but I’m here watching with you if you’re already here
First time I ever heard anyone mention any inkling of negative about Britian's bathrooms. Can't wait for reveal.
Is there anything you cant do? Your talents and vision are endless! I love learning from you. Amazing young man!
Excellent share, so many tips and creative potentials! 😘
Big project ... great job so far. Hunting up the next part right now!
I'm only just a little bit in & I'm already too invested. Love your cat going around & around you 🤣🤣
Ha ha, she just like to help out from time to time 😻
Im in awe of your crown molding skill. The previous homeowner left gaps between each board on ours and I'm going to try and fill those and paint over it myself. Every room in our house has that kindbof issue but we can’t afford to get it fixed properly so I'll do my best one room at a time, and that includes painting our furniture which is so fun. 😊😊❤❤
Yes, just spend the time to fill each gap sand really well and then paint over. It probably will look much better once you finished. 😊😊
You make everything look so easy, Jonathon! Looking good.
Great job. Redoing my bath and watching closely. Thanks Marc.❤
Another amazing detailed tutorial, I'm hooked❤
Looking so good Jonathan! Can't wait to see the final result! Such hard work!
Great job on that molding, you made it look so easy!
Awesome job as always. See you next week
It's going so well 😊
Im enjoying watching this looking lovely so far ❤❤❤xx
Looking good. I can’t wait to see the mural!
I have to say I’ve done it now and it’s gone up so beautifully. I’m really happy. Can’t wait for you all to see x
Thank you, Jonathan just loved this video, so informative on what you can do!! Will be looking forward to the rest of this transformation!! Valerie
Thank you, Valerie release appreciate the support. Hopefully I will get this completed before Christmas.😂
You are so good! Love it but I worry about the stairs. You’re putting in a railing right? The hutch, perfect, the stool, the TILE. So good.
Brilliant job so far 😊 we're semi tiling our bathroom ATM nightmare we bought 25 boxes of tiles in 2 visits only to get them home to find they were all crap so 3rd visit we got a refund and bought some from a different store
It really is a nightmare, choosing the correct thing for a bathroom and I sometimes think you do need to see it in the space before you make that final decision. It’ll be worth it in the end. Keep on going 😀😀
I Love this!! Thanks for explaining the stairs-I’m a walking/arising fast & am an accident waiting to happen😊 I think the 5mm boarding is right weight, plus can do on own. Tweaks yes but manageable!! Same with the crown mouldings!! I’m loving the look & light weight!!! Oh, love those windows & I think “string of pearls” plant!! Look at your baby!! Fur baby!! Love the glimpse of your backyard too!! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for watching and I’m pleased that you enjoyed seeing the garden. I must do a tour of the house and garden on 😊😊
I missed the live Jonathan 😢. Love what you did so far and looking forward to seeing the mural up. It looks gorgeous. ❤
Don’t worry, you didn’t miss anything. I forgot to press the premiere button when loading so it just happened without everybody being there but I’ll see you next week for the premier 😊😊
So excited to see the mural! When I was imagining what I would want to see I thought of a scene very much like the one you chose so good job! I know I’m going to love it. I’ve watched many of your furniture painting tutorials and they are fantastic! ❤❤❤❤❤. You get 5 hearts, lol.
Thank you very much for the five hearts I’ll take them and I’m sending much love back to you 😀
I had a similar problem in my bath, but I collect antique Victorian and Persian rugs, so I used a beautiful antique rug from Iran on a hanging frame behind my tub. worked wonders for deadening the echo. but I love the mural idea as well.
That is such a great idea. I love the fact that you soften the space with texture brilliant thing to do. 🏆🏆🏆🏆
Looking great so far. Can't wait to see it all come together. ❤
Thank you so much I’m praying I get this completed before Christmas ?🙏
Love it!!!❤
MARAVILHOSO !!!
Evening Jonathan
I love the crown moulding gives the room a finished look. The idiot that thought he was good at what he claimed upset me with kiltz stainblocker white splattered all over my bathroom so much that t had to repaint some things. If I was not just out of the hospital that he would have been fired sooner or not hired to begin with plus he wanted to get inside me roof and with the pitch of this roof that I do not have an attic which that jerk thought he knew more than me. I thought my house, my money but this jerk just did not want to listen.
Hello

Those steps in a bathroom to the tub is a recipe for a disaster. Imagine walking down with wet feet and no railing! So dangerous.
Absolutely I would! I think anyone would want to keep people they care about, safe, right?
