Jiang Fa (蒋发) in Ming late dynasty period taught Tai Chi in Zhao Bao (赵堡) town, he later taught Tai Chi to Chen village in end of Ming time. The founder of the Yang-style was Yang Luchan, who studied under Chen Changxing starting in 1820. Yang became a teacher in his own right, and his subsequent expression of tai chi became known as the Yang-style. Wang Zhuanghong (王壮弘 1931-2008) modified the modern Yang Style (high stance form) and added the 5 water waves method, point-line-plane-volume concept and distinguished as Water Tai Chi (WTT). Therefore, Zhao Bao closer to Chen not Yang. You can find a lot of good explanation between Chen & Yang in the internet. In ruclips.net/video/UfxJEsF84r4/видео.html Master Chang shows the complete WTT style. Transcript shows the names of the 91 steps which nearly the same as Yang.
