To stop items stored in drawers from going into the drives, you can set a higher priority on the storage bus. It will pull from the drives first, and push into the drawers before going back to the drives. This is kinda hard to read but hight priority means, empty drives, full drawers. Hope that helps!
Genuinely a really great series so far! It's gotten me through development of my own Gregtech modpack (modpack development is insanely tedious) and given me some base inspiration for when I start my playthrough!
Lapidary Dynamos are definitely a good source of power, though I used Tree Greenhouse at MV and only water, along with 4 wall-shared Pyrolyse Oven and 2 Large Bronze Boilers, then at least 8 MV Steam Turbine since I am used to it
"I guess it's called star steel" *_Continues to call it star metal for the rest of the episode_* 😂 But anyways, awesome video, Loving the series so far even though it's only two episodes, this really looks like a cool GT pack I'm very excited!
Just found your channel, nice videos... In my opinion, in the video more content could be shown and not so much cut and edit and rather more videos... and of course, I do hope, you go for 100% quest book, all green check marks for OCD sake :D and showing the questbook and the progress would be nice also
Crazy how far you get so quickly. Also how well developed everything is. Very cool Question, how are you automating everything so well and neat? What kind of pipes do you use for different things? Also how do you automate input and output for items or fluids? I ask because i end up using shitloads of pipes everywhere. Could you explain which items you use and their mechanics in your application? I.e. do drawers just pull from inventory or do you use something else? Excited to see the rest of your series when i reach MV
Generally throughout the series, I use AE2 to make sure stuff moves around, otherwise I do use pipes for short distance transport, I use drawers to buffer things outside of the drives in AE2 as well as super tanks for fluids
Btw you can fully automate sieving gravel without any power required and it only takes two water wheels you can use a vacuumulator and a golden hand filled with gravel
Hi i dont know why but my kinetic sieve is not working i have 2 LV output Bus 1 LV input bus and 1 ULV input and MV Kinetic Input box i dont know why this is not working
I just put a Strong Generator behind it, but it didn`t work :/ Still searching for a solution. I even tried putting a creative Motor with 256 rpm behind it. Still no results. 128rpm is needed for sand.
You need an input bus large enough to fit the sieve and the input items, a kinetic input with 2048 SU at an RPM of 32 I believe, and then an output bus large enough for all of the products, for sand there are 5 outputs so you need an MV output bus
these are Item Pipezz. They just got a remodel after the latest update. Check 10:30 where he aims at the water pipe. Looks identical to the item pipe, just a different color. :)
I’m curious what mod are you using for those pipes, can’t find them anywhere and the other item pipe mods in the pack don’t seem to work for everything we need it to
Use 2 large stone barrels. One makes lave, feeds that lave to a second one, which makes calcite pebbles(around 2k in under a minute). When calcite blocks are run through create grinding wheels it produces bonemeal (about 2k in 10 minutes). Infinite bonemeal, fast and free.
well, i have started playing it, tlhough planning out base layout is hard in my head. I better learn fast haha Alos, huh LaserIO isn't relaly gated, well other then needing lots of quarts and gold i guess. Also, kind of silly how you could , if you wanted too, play on a default world generation instead of skyblock. but that kind of defeats the point haha
It takes around 10 days to make the video, about 7 of playing and 3 of editing, mostly because I have other things to do so this takes a back seat sometimes

Oh, I see! I thought it meant 0 channels. I was like, how does that work at all how are you gonna connect anything if it has no channels?? Thank you for explaining to me 🥰

man this wouldve been so helpful before i consolidated all my drawers into digital storage 😭
@applecrate8366 rip, it's never too late to fix it lol.
AE2 in the second episode is crazy
It took a while, but I refuse to run around again, I play to play less
Genuinely a really great series so far! It's gotten me through development of my own Gregtech modpack (modpack development is insanely tedious) and given me some base inspiration for when I start my playthrough!
Glad to hear it! I can imagine how difficult it is to balance every single gameplay element!
Watched the entire thing, excited for the star gate
Started playing this modpack bc of you, its really fun and your videos are great
Glad you can enjoy the pack, its a really fun challenge!
Lapidary Dynamos are definitely a good source of power, though I used Tree Greenhouse at MV and only water, along with 4 wall-shared Pyrolyse Oven and 2 Large Bronze Boilers, then at least 8 MV Steam Turbine since I am used to it
also, if you want to, you can use Pyrolyse Oven (in MV) to make a *little* bit more Biomass
another thing: you can recycle water in the clay electrolysis setup
Thanks! I'll definitely be getting the pyrolyse for distillation products shortly
@@melbournewocoffee5617 Well, don't rush it though
Wow! You're already automating crafting, after barely reaching LV and here I am, at the EV stage, still doing everything by hand XD
you gotta make sure you automate everything for your mental health
@@melbournewocoffee5617 No wonder my mental health is at the rock bottom D8 Great advice 8)

Great video man, really enjoyed all of it, keep up the great work. Cant wait to see those huge autocrafts queued up.
Looking at the future of this pack, there will be some huge ones! I'll make sure to show them

love the way you build man, keep it up :P

In fact this works with all meshes with anything
@@osky-n3b That's really inventive, I didn't even think about that
Create is weird lol you can do anything you want with it really
Pretty sure you can also use create: diesel generators ethanol to make PE
I think the reason it’s automatically going to nuclearcraft Ingots is because your clicking it when the nuclear craft ingots are showing
cool video man, keep it going!
Great video!
4am upload time is crazy
Good episode!
Amazing video like usual
Great video

9:17 You can use ethanol(Create)

Just check your stress unit generation, and make sure you have it at t he correct RPM
@melbournewocoffee5617
I have 20 000 stress units but what is RPM
@@artman6370how fast the Things Rotate
Another great video. One question, how the heck did you get the kinetic sieve to work?
You've just gotta make sure you give it enough stress units at the right RPM
I just put a Strong Generator behind it, but it didn`t work :/

I'm using pretty pipez resource pack
7:42 they nerfed the recipe its only one diode per craft unless you use polyethylene
Sorry for second comment, but ooh boy, ti took me week for some reaosn to get through MV
0:20 i cant find the block you use for the floor anywhere in star technology :(
I'm using the chisel to make polished connected sandstone, pulverised cobblestone connecting, and the smooth stone connecting blocks
ive been enjoying the series, im also playing the modpack, but ive wondered how should i go about getting a good supply of bonemeal for biodiesel?
I've been composting the excess potatoes and wheat to make the bone meal

The chisel mod allows you to enable connected textures on blocks, thats what I use
