Wow! The views from there are incredible! You have outdone yourself with this one. It is literally "over the top". Just fantastic! Thanks for sharing with us old guys who can't do that stuff anymore.
Spectacular views, stellar recording. Not sure when it was the last time I saw someone from the community accentuating the serenity of the moment with music like you did for the segment on the top of the claim, overlooking the spoils of mans attempt at controlling erosion. This is one of my favourites already, I hope you‘re well again and the two mishaps on that „false floor“ of ice didn’t leave you with lasting damage.
Long background music? Yeah I think so He has used music in other videos before though, usually in the funny edited beginning portions of old videos, or the laptop burning one.
5:43 .. I'm dying laughing at this. Incredible how much of that tram station is there. Interesting to see how they were using it as a waypoint to change direction. Ice is slippery??? As a Canadian that statement made me laugh .. then I felt bad when you wiped out the second time and hurt yourself. Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Courtney J. Johnston, Contract Service Technician, age 27, was seriously injured at this mine on February 27, 2014. He was airlifted to a hospital where he died on February 28, 2014. The accident occurred due to management’s failure to ensure the platform walkway on the scaler was free of slip, trip, and fall hazards. Johnston was not effectively protected from these hazards while working from the upper elevated work platform on the scaler. RIP Young man.
Best before dates on dried foods are a marketing con anyway, i always look at the best before date on my dried pasta and wonder where the world began to go so wrong, the old fashioned forms of preserving food by drying them, salting them or adding shit loads of sugar all work by rendering foods safe by stopping the ability of bacteria to grow or survive by creating an osmotic pressure that dehydrates the bacteria and kills them
yes and no.. it has a purpose but the general public doesn't really understand that purpose anymore. sell by date /= best by date for dried and preserved foods.
Good choice of music for the magnificent scenery... The mountains of Florida can sure be beautiful.

Pretty good mellow music there as the panoramic views are taken in. It put me on a fast path to sleepy time. Very good!
Nuts view from up there, looks like a tough hike, nice job guys.
unreal how much lumber and steel were hauled up that mountain to build those structures.
Totally blown away by the scenery and artifacts in that upper portion. And the music was the perfect choice. Well done!!
some insane views but the level of desperation required to be willing to work up there must of been unbelievable.
I think this is the first time he has ever used music in any of his video on both channels. Well done. Thanks for the upload.
I think you're right.
Long background music? Yeah I think so

The music for growing plants album was used prominently in an earlier video
I liked the music, that was a nice touch
IceTastic .. Only thing missing was a Pack of Virginia Slims ..
That place looks absolutely insane, like another planet never mind another country.
A very nice view and hike.

Good morning from Southeast South Dakota
Awesome
So there's an upcoming sequel? Sweet vistas!
They had to be mad with money lust to haul all that steel and timber up there by hand.
The long drill bits were used for drilling out stopes. Some interesting old tram ruins. Must of been quite an effort to get up there.
freeze dried food does not expire. best by date is just the date the product is guaranteed by manufacturer.
What is this guy 12? Has he never seen ice or snow before. I mean what the heck.
What a waste of money materials and time. What were they mining for ⛏️?
Agreed, but if they had not done it, we would not have this video to watch.
does he have to destroy all the ice crystals. What a goof ball.
You know they refreeze again r-r-right?

I'm pretty sure this isn't Iowa 😂

You can tell that it must be difficult to reach with all the things still lying around 👍
