No matter how Reg may seem like the worst influence to have around Jake, but there’s no denying that he genuinely loved his lil brother, Reg was raised in the streets and was really young to take care of Jake while Trig couldn’t, he wanted Jake to be strong enough for the real world and to protect and love him the way he only could. He was a good big brother and wanted to teach Jake structure but his messy business got him killed, would’ve been cool to see him develop into something like Trig or to even see him and trig come together after years of not seeing eachother
