I honestly hate that they killed his character off so soon. I understand that it set the tone for the season but The Chi hasn’t felt the same since this season. Then they essentially killed off the rest of the Johnson family including Brandon. I miss how raw the first season was 😓⭐️
I was just confused on how Coogie who was 16 at the time and Bakari who was 12 at the time could have been best friends. But I guess age is just a number

@@MacMac26 My brother read that the character Brandon allegedly got charged with sexual assault in real life so they probably couldn't move forward with his storyline, which is unfortunate because I really wanted to see what his journey would've looked like working with the feds 😳
I feel like they shouldn’t have killed Coogie character off until the end of the first season. I feel like it would’ve made more of an impact, and gave people more insight to who he was. Also, one thing that always threw me off was what happened to all the detectives and other characters after season two.
That's true.. I ONLY started watching last year. Got caught up with the boy's and their friendship.. now they are graduating high school. Good memories of the early seasons.
It’s still a good show I just don’t understand why they had to force the transgender stuff. It’s just not realistic no street dude is gonna openly have transgender girlfriend. I still watch but i get uncomfortable sometimes when they are clearly pushing an agenda. SPOILER ALERT Just like in the last episode trigs transgender girlfriend literally approached Keshia and they talked about how they are gonna hang out to do the interior design stuff together. But in the next episode they have her doing it with two other transgender people who will probably never be shown on the show again. That’s forcing it to me. You just set up something and then in the next episode you don’t do it. That’s lazy writing and they have to many good actors on the show to be doing that.
