  • This is the first "hilling" of potatoes after the initial covering of potato pieces at planting, which was done with the same implement. It disturbs the soil to kill weeds more than really throwing a significant amount of soil onto the hills. The International 140, new this year, has fairly narrow tires that make it a good choice for driving down rows of potatoes planted this closely (30" spacing), compared to standard ag tractors.

I just recently bought a 140, can i ask you a few questions in terms of proper care and maintenance of it? And also general operation? It's my first "old" tractor and I want to run it right!
