I downloaded the Ruthless gunfighter rules about month ago, but have yet to play my first game, as I've been busy scratch building the buildings and assembling/painting the figures. I've come up with a really cool way to keep track of each character's stats. I've cut a pine 3/4" pine board into 4" x 8" pieces, then cut the piece into the shape of an old west coffin lid. At the top there's a place for the character's name and toughness rating, below that a place for traits, below that holes are drilled for 22 caliber and 32 caliber shell casings to keep track of ammo supply and below that four 3/4" holes for the LEG, ARM, CHEST and CRITICAL wounds (I'll use small diameter poker chips to keep track of the wounds). Hopefully I'll be ready to play our first game in another week or two.
Great video. Totally agree with more on rules play through. Maybe an added section when doing a review or compare a similar scenario played over a number of rulesets and discuss complexity, timings, sense of reality etc. Please keep upto great videos.
Wild Bill should have had two revolvers since he actually carried two navy colts in real life. However, this looks like fun! I can even see doing a mountain man version pretty easily!
Played my first game last night with my fiance, the game is fantastic! Excited to check out ravenfeast next.... I have the baccus 1066 package on its way hehe

I've "upgraded" to 28mm Wild West miniatures, therefore I'm selling my HO scale Old West stuff. I have 15-20 of the Kubri Old West buildings, most of which are assembled and some HO scale Atlantic Old West plastic miniatures. Is anyone interested?
Alec Baldwin and crew probably should have learned firearm safety from us. Toy guns that don’t fire anything. Not even a nerf pellet. The only way to hurt someone with these is to throw the plastic at them.
Good explanation of the rules. You should do more of these demos. Also the rules sound cool.

Another exceptional "How-To Play" video guys! Ruthless is my go-to Western gaming rules...thanks again for the game play video. Take care.
For anyone looking at this video. Those rules are just the best old west miniatures game at this time.
Also the cheapest!
Those hats in the big group shot!! Bonus points for those alone. 😂

I just love the idea of doing a ‘Skedaddle Test’! 😂
Where are the 15mm western minis from? They look great!
They look like Blue Moon Miniatures to me.
Yes there are 15mm Blue Moon!
Nice rules explanation! Thanks guys! Can you make the Cheyenne Tracks scenario and cards available for purchase or download?
You can tell these guys are hobbyists when a closeup of their hands shows fingernails stained with paint :D
Thank you for this!
You bet! Would love to do more “how to play” rule videos in the future, covering more games
I will probably use the rules to run the historical battle of Grapevine. Which was fought between the Hatfields and McCoy's
Ruthless would be perfect for that!
@@LittleWarsTVFuture video? 😉
Looks like a lot of fun. Blue Moon miniatures if I'm not mistaken...
Correct!
Great game!
Can the Tombstone Tinderbox pdf be made available, I understand that the box is not being made anymore.
Yes, that will happen! We are in the process of transitioning all of our stuff to third party platforms and off our LWTV website. Working on it!
Thank you very much! That’s great to hear. I appreciate the effort everyone put into it and kick myself for not picking up the box last year.

Very nice we had a huge debate on the Double Barrel shot gun is one action both barrels or an action per barrel
We allow the double barrel shotgun to fire as a single action if the player wants to shoot both!
@@LittleWarsTV that’s what I said but boy it was a chuckle heads debate the Great GM Walt leech said contact mark or Greg! Ty
Btw it plays better in 54mm

How do we get a copy of Cheyenne Tracks? Is this game available?
Where did you get the miniatures?
Played best in 54mm
✌
Get your booger hook off the bang switch! There is no excuse for improper firearm safety.
Exactly, even if it is a prop gun it develops into bad habits that can cause someone to get hurt or worse.

Love the channel, but I encourage you to learn firearm safety from someone besides Alec Baldwin. Keep your finger off the trigger.
