Love Tannat from Uruguay! They’re uncommon and so perfect with s steak. Garzon and Pisano RPF are the best I’ve found so far. Am aging about 8 bottles in my cellar; have read they age well. Will also try Albarino. Thanks for doing this!

Good explanation, new subscriber, in south america, tannat found a second home in Bolivia, but here the tannat is completely different, is way smoother, for what I heard it is because the high alttitude we have our vines (from 5300 UP to 7800 ft over sea level), the extra UV lights supposedly thicken the skins reducing the tannins, we even have 2021 tannats for sale that are ready to be drunk, in last november I took a 2019 tannat to Chile and the somm were surprised because it didnt taste like tannat.
If you are interested in tasting bolivian wines, there is one importer in USA called llama wines that import them, also they have an amazing 100% petit verdot that you might enjoy.

Hi Mauricio: Welcome to my wine channel, I’m so glad you are here and taking this wine journey with me. I hope you will check out some of my other 200 videos and share with your friends. I am familiar with the Llama wines and I had them in my store. I enjoyed them very much although they are quite different. I’ll have to work them into future videos. Cheers, Dave

@@obi-wine-kenobi wow, what a surprise, I have posted recommending bolivian wines in all the wine channels I could (in spanish and english), and you are the first person that actually had tried them!, personally I would love to see you drinking one, there is no wine channel with a video about bolivian wines.

I heard Tannat Wine is considered to be the Healthiest Wine in the World .

Hi Jason: It is certainly one of the healthiest. It has thick skins and lots of color making it one of the higher wines with respect to tannins and anthocyanin content. Of course, “the dose makes the poison” so everything in moderation. Cheers, Dave
