To show the affects on AC frequency, I stacked several beads using different frequencies from 40hz to 200hz.
100-120hz is a good all around setting but I like to lower the frequency for thicker metal or when I want a fat bead.
Higher AC frequency settings help focus the arc cone for a pinpointed arc.

This is great info, just what I need. I have this machine and just learning to weld ally. I'm trying to build a custom intake manifold welding .063 6061 round tube to a .375" 6061 thick flange, I'm guessing I'll have to use the pedal to raise and lower the amps. Any advice out there on settings for this project?
