Dude I rewatch your live streams all the time and they are so calming and inspiring. I can almost see the different worlds and scenes from your music in my mind. I hope I have the time to keep growing. Coming home to these after work is literal heaven to me. BTW your set up is dope af.
The Luftrum soundset is out in about a week's time I believe, I'll update the description with a link once it's live. Thanks to everyone that joined the stream!
I just woke up to the sounds of this, I had RUclips playing in my sleep and this had me floating in my bed as soon as I woke up. Literally one of the most beautiful ambient tracks I’ve ever heard
I'm glad I'm not the only one who plays YT content as background noise while they sleep. I started playing foreign language tutorial videos and sure as fire, you actually start picking up words in your sleep.
This is one of the coolest setups I've ever seen ... it looks absolutely amazing, and the sound is incredible. I am a huge SomaFM fan and have loved ambient / electronica music going on 25+ years now. When you get older and you start to slow down, rest more, you are not as easily impressed with the many things life introduces to you when you were younger, maybe jaded and cynical might be better words of description. in short, it becomes harder and harder for your emotions to get ignited. For me, music is one of the last things that captures my imagination and evokes such a very strong emotional response within me, and I am just so grateful to GOD and the universe for allowing me to still have this wondering blessing. With Vangelis's passing recently, which saddened many of us, I just had to stop and listen. Thank you so much. You music is both comforting, healing and has sent my mind off on a new journey.
yes. I concur. Im a 3D animator by trade.. but am totally jaded over the years,. audio seems to have magic surprises given to us weekly. havent had that in visual fx since the mid nineties. well.. ok.. we did kick ass back then. hehehe. please, enjoy the "golden age of digital audio people..here before you now. : and oh yes..love the console.. but.. no coffee cup stains...? disappointing ... :) Jeff.
Agreed! Seeing the setup makes me envious. It sure makes my Surface Pro 3 running Sonar on it look like weak sauce compared to this setup! Very very impressive and I'd be willing to bet a small to medium sized fortune was spent on that.
once again,,,, you make me dream. i went thru the most horrific thing in my life today, after 40 years,, and your music still melts me, in all the wonderful ways.
Music From The Hearts Of Space with Timitheo and Anna. 💕 11pm - 2am, Sundays in the 80s. 🙂 I've got a wonderful collection of cassette recordings from over 40 years ago. The genesis of my musical journey from KPFA 94.1 FM, Berkeley, CA. Thank you, State Azure, for taking me back and moving me forward. 💕
Beautiful composition. Love the extra long form. The second movement is simply gorgeous. And, oh wow! The sequence around 2:00:00 is the extended replicant battle in blade runner space! What a gift!!
I just wanted to thank you so much for these sessions. As a novice and hobbyist trying to create similar music, watching you work had not only given me inspiration, but it’s given me invaluable learning watching your workflow! I wish I understood better how you are able to ensure everything is heard in the mix….
Whenever State Azure comes up when RUclips is “autoplaying” I can immediately tell, even when it’s back to back with other ambient tracks. 100% chill, 0% cheese, which is easier said than done. Love your stuff!
Track one is one of my favourite tracks of yours (anyone) ever. Just timeless, keep returning to it, even with the test sounds... don't really have the words for it.. thanks for being here !
Incredible accomplishment. Tried playing guitar along with it. Structured and unstructured at the same time makes it truly wonderful. I could imagine a full orchestra. with a tall woman playing a violin, a big bass, triangles, oboes. Well done and thank-you.
Holy Crap...I'm hearin' an album!! Awesome vid. Great music!! Thanks for the upload. My first exposure to Vangelis will never be forgotten. There was a weekly west coast radio show US, called Musical Starstreams. It was incredible to hear Vangelis. One of my favorite albums at the time was Music of the Cosmos, from the PBS series. Could put this directly up on Bandcamp. Super great vid. Many thanks!
The freestyle starting from around 1 hour was absolutely incredible. Just insane, and most of that came from that soundset software? Especially the last 30 minutes, I could listen to this hours it's incredible. Saved :)
First of all I love your music. It's been really inspiring for me lately, and I've made a lot of progress. On the other hand I look at all your setups and just feel so overwhelmed. Realizing that the deckard dream alone is $4k is just depressing lol. I could legitimately spend $20k just on effects pedals! It's insane out here!
Thank you, I'm glad you've been inspired but please remember the equipment is really unimportant. I often see other people's studios with vastly more gear than I have, wall to wall synths and modular systems far beyond anything I could ever afford, as I'm not remotely wealthy by any stretch. But I remind myself, I would be perfectly happy with just a single computer, controller and software and produce the same quality of music, or a bunch of cheap hardware like the Korg Wavestate which I made an entire album with live. Actually if I had say 200k+ worth of gear, my music wouldn't change at all, I would just get less done and find it not as fun anymore! I rarely use the Deckard's by the way, but I might do a livestream with that very soon.
@@stateazure so what you’re saying is I’ll never escape this feeling! Only joking, appreciate the response. I’ve been doing well with my little miniature setup and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Thanks again for all the inspiration, even from your response.
If anything could be described as 'Pure' then this track must be in that bracket, as I've run out of words about how your music makes me feel, the only word left is Pure.
Recently down the road of discovering myself and the secrets of channelling the energy of my own, I found out that the best way is to place hands together and pray in silence and harmony of yourself. For the first time, I channelled the energy from within myself through my arms towards my hands and as the result, I created light within myself. I sensed that energy in my hands. Music is still a large part of getting into the state of the mind of harmony. Silence comes at cost of going into the darkness. There is no knowing yourself until you've experienced what is going on around the existence of what is created for the living. There is also a pace in silence once you know who you are. Not always do people have to go out to experience the darkness. The mind travels space-time, therefore, everything can be experienced at home.
This is the kind of music I've looked for my whole life... perfect for my interstellar spiritual journey.
