Why do i always get so sleepy watching these videos. Love the videos and the art its amazing and i've been trying out a few of things i've picked up from your videos but dang i always get so sleepy. I actually had to pause this video and take a nap then came back and finished it.
It's a process. Work up to it. It's a composition of effects, don't be afraid to practice say, trees or waterfalls, on their own. Also, this is a lot harder with rapid drying lacquer paints than enamels? Practice, might not make perfect, but it will make you happier with what you're doing?
@BuiltatBlackjacks I have issues making pine trees. The way she did the mountains and rocks, I do them the same way and think they look like trash. I know how to do the majority or the techniques she's doing, but I can't seem to put them together. Either I let the paint dry to much, or I attempt it while it's too wet still and it looks like a blob of mud.
@tomholfield8781 I had a go at a motorcycle gas tank using aerosols from ToolStation. The paint dries a lot quicker than what Amber uses, so some of her techniques came out looking a mess or just completely different. Maybe try just a simple planet on a starfield? Practice a few times and two things happen, you get better, and you get bored with churning out planets. At that point your not so emotionally invested in the painting, and you've honed skills. So then try adding some foreground or some water. Get better at that, and when you get a bit bored with it, try adding trees, or waterfalls. There's a video of my gas tank on my channel.
Absolutely amazing 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
