Bad ignition switch. I was a 15 year old dumbass at the time. Made pretty terrible videos, there’s a lot better videos on the repair but if you have a 72-89 Dodge with the same issue, it’s probably the ignition switch. Not a terribly hard job but clean your floor mats before you do it. You’ll spend some time under your steering column
