Holy crap, this issue is perfext for one reason: EXPLINATIONS.
it explains why silver is there with the resisgance instead of his own time.
It explains what happened when sonic was locked up.

Agreed! I kinda hated Silver in Sonic 06, he just wasn't interesting, and his introduction seemed to retcon and ruin Blaze's backstory and character. Plus the fact that him still showing up after 06 is a thing in itself that shouldn't happen, since time got like, completely reset at the end of that game so his future shouldn't even exist anymore, so neither should he. Or even if he does, he shouldn't remember ANYTHING about traveling to the past because he shouldn't need to, so he shouldn't know Sonic anymore. So every time he's shown up I just kinda get more mad lol.
But I really like his character in the IDW comics. Honestly they do most of the games backstory and how they connect better than the games themselves do, it's really impressive.

He would remember because he was in the past as it was rewritten, so when he returned to the future, he would be returned to the point he left. Only, things would be different and he would have a different past because the world was saved. If that makes sense. He was taken out of his time, basically, so he couldn’t be rewritten along with it as he wasn’t there. But I agree, 06 sucked and he should have been introduced differently.

I love this version/interoperation of Silver as the fanboy enthusiastic time-traveler. He is still on a mission and can turn on the serious switch, but is a pure nerd and wears his heart on his sleeve.
Captain's performance was intense during those fight scenes. Can't wait for the next dub!
This Comic actually justified Silver's presence in Forces, great work from the voice actors as well !

You mean 8 issues (currently since issue 28 is just coming out in a few days and I still count it on this list) because the Metal Virus Saga started at issue 15 (or 14 idk) and that’s when the whole “murdering characters” thing happened.

SILVER IS TOO COOL! He's enthusiastic and awkward, yet strong willed and devoted! He's been my favorite since...
Ugh...Look, I just like Silver as a character okay? He's got everything I always liked, the color combo, the personality, Telekinesis, and from the future too! I've always found characters who are associated with time travel to be so flipping awesome. And I love his theam - Dream of an absolution.
Anyhow, this is EASILY my favorite issue so far.

When the voice actors for this dub are better than the new voice actors that sega hired. ESPECIALLY SILVER! He sounds like silver in this dub. His new VA doesn't make Silver feel like Silver. The VAs in this dub do an amazing job! I love the work that you guys do!

This was the one I was looking forward to the most, since I'm a big Silver fan, and this did not disappoint. I love what the voice actor/actress did for Silver and Whisper here, especially during moments where certain emotions need to be performed. My favorite panel in the issue is at 3:31 and they did a great job bringing it to life! Overall this was a great dub and can't wait to see the rest for this arc! :) P.S. I also like the use of Dreams of Absolution here ;)
Seriously though, Captain Comedy is fantastic, just the right amount of Character to clarify that this is a more mature Silver _And_ the fact that he’s still a kid👍🏻👍🏻

I like how smart Sonic is. He’s not an intelligently smart with tech like Tails, or a strategist like Amy, but Sonic is emotionally and socially intelligent. He can read people, and has an influence on them, inspire them to be better. He could tell Silver was so happy to meet Whisper, but she’s shy and doesn’t prefers to work alone.

I swear all the subtle folly noises and sound effects, they say the best kinds are the ones you can’t even tell is there, yet creates the illusion that the world is alive, you guys are able to do just that, also the transitions and timing between each scene is seamless and perfect, BRAVO!!!

The thing that’s most scary to me (spoilers if you haven’t read the latest arc) is the fact that Silvers future was completely destroyed by the metal virus. Everything was gone. This is gonna be one big challenge for Sonic and Co.
But enough of that, this comic dub was great! Even though I can’t help but remember the video sent in the Discord...

This was amazing, didn’t realize my profile picture came from such an amazing comic reboot series. This truly does justice to Sonic and his friends, each with a vital part in the story. Not to mention the dubs are amazing, each voice fits their characters perfectly. The music is also really well thought out and makes action sequences even more entertaining and action-packed, can’t wait for more. You guys just got another subscriber 😄.
