Hope we get to hear you interview some long term residents as well as some recent arrivals to learn different perspectives on manufactured home living. It would also be good to hear from some community managers as to their take on dealing with the inflated costs that are driving up lot rents. Thanks as always for all you are doing to to educate us about the Florida lifestyle.
I recently looked at a manufactured home in a part in Florida. The price was right and the condition was very good. However, when I looked at at the monthly rent, it was over one thousand a month!! I have never had a mortgage that high. So if I ever decide to stay the winter in FL, I will rent an Airbnb. I can afford that and I only pay for what I need. Not be saddled with a high rent fee for 12 months. And then have to worry about damage or destruction due a hurricane.
NP , we each have our goals and ideas on what is worth our hard-earned assets. There is no question this does not meet everyone's needs. The idea is to present enough information that you can know the alternatives and make an informed decision. Glad we can help you in that regard.
