Costa Rica is such a wonderful and beautiful country. Uvita is worth a stay, don't just drive through. It has an amazing beach, the whale tail beach, and the Uvita Waterfall is also a stunning place. When we come back to CR, we are definitely going back to explore more around the Pacific Coast. There are also tons of national parks to explore.

Thank you for your comment. When considering residency of an applicant who has a past criminal record the Department of Immigration will consider the type of offense and how long ago the offense was committed as part of the process. I would suggest your client pull both his State and and FBI clearance report and then review them with a Costa Rican immigration Attorney for evaluation.
