Don't dissassemble those high grade weapons, while you have a dozens of useless chest pieces from executed and sold heroes. It's T0 "crafted" chest pieces with +2 lightning resistance or any other +2 resist.
Start from low lvl stuff you'll never use.

Auto combat doesn't do all that well with armies that are mostly casters. I can see this getting really annoying for you as time goes on.
