@@tredfxman Not for us. Not much in the way of sporty pretensions here and we're not comfortable with full BEVs yet (range anxiety.) Besides, doesn't the Polestar version come with the fancy music system (that we'd never use)?
I absolutely love mine. I do miss the sporty feel of the Audi Q5 but the dynamic mode helps get you closer to something tighter and more responsive. The infotainment center is second to none. Interior gorgeous. And just so many smart little functions to say, “ oh, they thought of that!”
Keith, you might check on getting the Polestar Optimization on it. I had that done to mine and it did truly change the driving dynamics. I notice it most in a corner as it makes it just lean in a bit more with the gear selection and how they use the engine breaking to create what feels like more weight. It's roughly a $1,300 option but if you reach out to Volvo Customer Care, they can normally give you a coupon to take a bit off of it. I think it's completely worth it!
You can adjust all the seat settings from within the seat control on the side. No need to touch the screen for seat adjustments at all. The inside of the circle is a D pad control.
We bought one of these and absolutely adore it! It is such a beautiful vehicle inside and out. And it’s so safe! The first day we got it home, apparently rats got in the engine overnight and messed with it’s wires. The car let us know right away that something was wrong and that we needed to take it in to get checked out. Volvo found and solved the problem very quickly, and we only had to use our loaner car for a few hours. I would definitely recommend this car and company to anyone looking in this budget.
Volvo is killing it with design inside and out. Beautiful small SUV. I have to agree on engine durability in long run being debatable. Wish they would put a inline naturally aspirated six cylinder in these. Alas, I am sure they are getting ready for transition to all electric so till then, just lease.
Interesting! Never heard OR experienced anything like that before. Me and many of my relatives do live with the sensus every day and have since it first launched. However, I borrowed a 3 months old Audi A4 (2021 year model) for a few days and suddently, the MMI system just crashed permanently (same used for Q5 etc.). Had to be taken to Audi repair shop. The sensus system IS reliable, quick & responsive. I can assure of that :)
These reviews are fraudulent. The infotainment sucks. Its buggy, constantly crashes. Takes forever to do simple stuff, laggy, distracting. Volvos seats used to be amazing now theyre average with very thin leather. Rough ride without airspring. Repairs are astronomical. Small ding in rear bumper is 800, plus tax plus labor. Cargo area smaller than previous generation. Active safety features buggy, dont always work, ie lane keep assist.
I have a 2019 and have not had any problems. If yours is newer, all your issues should still be under warranty. Take it in and get it checked out. Sorry yours is not awesome.
@@atm1482 agreed man. I love my 2019 XC60 t5. It has given me 0 problems, but I have given it 0 problems myself. I treat it very gently and while it has been glitchy a few times, the problems went away. The pleasure of driving it, the smell of leather and luxury inside, I never get tired of it. Love this car.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my review! Which compact crossover would you choose?
I haven’t reviewed one yet, I’ll try to set something up
Volvo XC60 and we just got it. Such a fantastic and luxurious car
This car in the T8 but in white and without the fancy music system.
@@kennethstagg9520 How about the Polestar version? Or perhaps the new Polestar 2.. 👍 hehe 😉

Looking forward to trying out the new polestar engineered XC60. Wondering how that will stack up to the sportier company’s from the Germans

These engines will be bullet proof. They are in every Volvo now.
Such a great video. We bought one and cannot believe how wonderful it is.
So interesting how like, 90% of YT car review channels are in Canada
You could just buy a T6 and put it in "eco" to turn off the supercharger if you are concerned with the possibility of added wear.
I test drive it and bought my younger brother a Volvo XC60 2019
James Loki, we just got it, it’s the best
Anyone have any long-term opinions on the reliability of this motor? T6
CarPlay looses connectivity often other than that I love mine
Mine doesn’t, could be your cable
🙌🏾🔥 beautiful Scandinavian design! I’d buy in a heartbeat 💗 used of course 😂
Yeah, me too!
I can see Max Listening to the tunes cranked up to Disco tunes from Donna Summers, and Bee Gees.
I’m more of a Jason Mraz kind of guy
Where's this video taken? Btw great review
All shot in the bow valley, Alberta!
@@maxlandireviews thanks really preciated it

Yes
You are so dark , are you from DC?
nothing about offroad driving??
can this car pull a horse box up to 3ton thank you
Oh l'ami... Tu parles pas Français? Please link in French..
One of the greats? Are you kidding? Have you actually lived with the Sensus system? It’s bug prone and crashes CONSTANTLY. Makes the XC60 unlivable.
