Live A Live getting a remake and Western localization is huge It was made by the designer of FF4/director of Chrono Trigger, music by Yoko Shimomura, and character designs by artists of series like Detective Conan and Kamen Rider A lot of the ideas that originated from this game were later used in Chrono Trigger, essentially making LAL CT’s father in a way. It’s also essentially the grandfather of Romancing SaGa and Octopath And each section plays like an entirely different RPG, but they all tie together into one cohesive ending
the fact that Freaking Xenoblade 3 is releasing in September leaves some hope that we get at least one more big game before the end of the year. Which is crazy since Xenoblade 3 is more than deserving to be the big game for the holidays

This was a straight 8/10 for me. Too rpg heavy for someone who doesn’t like them (outside of very few exceptions), but the other announcements more than made up for it . Also the Disney racing game is making for some great in jokes between me and my gf lol. Great reactions as always!

I doubt they’d release Origins that game without showing anything of it. Plus, it’s a collection anyway so there’s probably not too much to really show to begin with other than the new features. I’d say give it a few weeks or another month.
I feel so bummed out for Mario Party Superstars DLC announcement and still nothing on Sonic Origins. Definitely looking forward to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC though. I definitely want more Double Dash courses. Honestly I would care less for any Super Mario Kart (SNES) courses to return. N64 is already getting its 5th course with choco mountain. I'm literally getting Smash reveals in the back of my head with the Fire Emblem and Xenoblade 3 reveals in this direct, because Smash always tends to put more Sword fighters cause now you know whatever the next Smash is, there just gonna put more fire emblem characters. Xenoblade I would give it a pass because to be honest Smash hardly has any Xenoblade reps, Shulk and Pyra are the only ones.
I cannot fathom how anyone who’s played at least one game other than botw could be dissatisfied with this direct! Everyone got a slice of the pie! … then again, the Nintendo fandom IS a toxic cesspool of negativity so idk…
People who aren't into jrpgs or srpgs probably got annoyed by bring bombarded with them all at once. I can see people not finding a lot here but for me there is so much to eat
