Claire you CRACK ME UP. "Riveting information." I cried. And when you talked about YOUR book and did that nuanced reading of the title and cover design, just perfect. I wanna come hang out with you. You are my fave. "Oh shit." YOU ARE MY QUEEN. "WHY USE THE CLASS SYSTEM ON TRAINS?!" Oh, my petals, it looks like you had so much fun. I wish I could have joined you! What a lovely video.

Just wanted to say that I'm English and have lived in London all my life yet whenever I travel to somewhere like Oxford or York or Hastings or Cornwall I'm always surprised and delighted by the traditional buildings and streets

"These are Doric columns! Isn't that exciting?!" ".... Riveting information." HA. The thumbnail is perfect, you tiny flower!
Even though this was literally yesterday, reliving it was amazing. I had such a fun time, chummy.

I love York - the buildings are beautiful! I usually visit a few times each year and I always look forward to it. I love the design of their Waterstones as well - it's very distinctive and looks so different to the other shops :D

Absolutely correct on your summary of York Minster about it being the largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe. And yep, St Mary's Abbey did fall victim to the dissolution by Henry VIII.
I LURRRRRRRRRRRRVE YORK. Gimme a week and a York Pass and I'll happily do the whole tourist bit.

York is one of my favourite places. I've visited it once a year for the past four years and I _love_ it. They have hedgehog chocolates at Monk Bar. It - is - awesome. My favourite bookstore there is the Little Apple Bookshop. Ahh, now I want to go back to York

My friend and I went to Haworth after seeing your vlog, and now im marvelling how did you do it all by yourself
We were not very well-prepared (we just wore our casual clothes), and we nearly got lost in the snow, luckily we met a group of professional hikers who were happy to take care of us until we reached the very top of the mountains.
It was such an epic journey to us, I could hardly imagine what would happen if we really got lost in the snow
(Though I must admit the view on the Top Withins is actually wonderful and makes everything worthy of doing)
