I didn’t have any issues with paint coming off. One tip if you do go to remove it you can heat up the tape with a blow dryer and then peel off the wall. This should soften the adhesive enough not to damage the paint.

Any idea if the paint will come off once you remove the two strips? I just purchased one and trying to figure out where to place it. Thanks
