when i check my avocado, i keep the button on, push it down gently, the amount of give it has will be the texture inside. and if its bright green, then obviously its not ripe and needs a few days. you normally want it light brown or dark green if you want just the visual before you start pushing in everyone button

Put avocado in last after everything is mixed so it stays chunky. Microwave the limes to maximize the amount of juice and to make it easy. Just put the ingredients for the dressing in a jar and shake to emulsify making it way easier and less time.
