Stinky is the informational kiosk guy after all, he's taking his job very seriously! studying how you're designing the island, down to the last cobblestone!
I'm not sure if you know this, but you can make more hybrid flowers by watering the ones you already have. If you already have pink lilies and you want more, then place them individually with empty space all around them and water them. If they're not close to other flowers, they will not cross bread. And instead they will spawn identical pink flowers.

your design style is so interesting!! in theory it should be simple because it's just symmetry but in my head it's MATH and that stresses me out 😂 it's so fun to see everyone's process tho!

Might be a stupid question but where would bug/fish models fall in the DIY only challenge? You don't make them but you don't buy them either. You just give CJ or Flick the resources and they send you the finished item. It's like a DIY with a middleman. Totally not asking because I want you to make an aquarium room with the underwater floor/wall 😅
I considered using those but I decided not to. Adding too many little rules like that will just get confusing and hard to remember. BUT I can certainly see a use for them! Lol good idea. We'll see if I change my mind!

I wonder if you still have 3 stars after getting rid of so many flowers? But then again you added a lot of bridges and inclines since then so that probably helps the score a lot

I get rid of holes because it feels right. Efficiency is never my top concern and it bothers me to leave them.

And yes yes yes for those tall lanterns! One of my favorite items in the game. They will be lovely all around your walking paths. I hoping you get the diy for the tall lantern asap! 🤞🏼👏🏼👍🏼 It’s shaping up really nicely now!

You CAN get crops from captains island without the cooking diy thing.
I have a feeling the fruit farm won't grow very well as the trees are too close to each other 😅

You don’t need cooking to get crops on Kapp’n islands… I just got pumpkins without cooking enabled. Just need luck I guess 🍀
I love your videos, i just wish they were longer.. looking forward to the next one... just and idea put a watering can and shovel near your flowers , a little added touch . and you can craft those.
Don't forget to sell some coconuts, fish and sea creatures plus hot items (sells for 2xs more)

Pumpkins came into the game before cooking, right? Am I misremembering that? Anyways, Nook's sells them in October, so you could possibly get seeds from there. Unless that's illegal in your challenge.
You can get pumpkins from Leif near Halloween right?
What about the white x yellow flowers? I see White x Red and Yellow x Red. But there’s no White x Yellows.
