I also scarred the metal the first time doing mine! I imagine the factory has some nylon clamps that are just undersized the tool so they get a good clean grip.

    Hi Peter,
Super video....I own a Foredom 8A. I have owned it many years. Since I used it last, the collet seems to be stuck. Probably some moisture caused some rust. Foredom was unable to help other than suggest I send it in. How do I open this handpiece to get this rascal out??

Hi, i have just bought a key type flex shaft Foredome with H.30 handpiece. Motor works great but handpiece has wobble like 10 micron. So, it is soo bad. I need to use smaller burs for a good fit stone sitting place. Have you ever used H.30? How is accuracy of H.10?

I use an H.30 for large shank burs and for foredom attachment tools. The H.10 feels very smooth and doesn't wobble. I have noticed wobble often tends to be a misshaped or improperly fitted shank, the key type shank head can exacerbate this.

Which way do I turn the lever to remove it? I have been unable to remove it. Thanks

The lever must stay still while the base of the lever is twisted lefty loosey righty tighty. I show it being done a couple times in the video.
