The original Schnauzers frm Germany had long tails. They are in the working dog class and they were tatters and badger dogs. Once in the hole of its prey, the owner could pull it out of the hole by its tail. Today they are mainly house dogs. Not used in hunting, they have no need of a tail. And that's the story of why the hunting breeds usually have tails! Dahduh, Dahduh, Dah DddDah.... That's all Folks! 😡🐹😛😀😜

Ella hace lo que quiere y le da la gana, corre, se sienta chueca, se hecha, se ensucia el bigote, se despeina etc etc.... en fin, la dejo ser "perro" y asi es hermosa!!.... no necesita tanto "protocolo" Dejenlos! No doubt that (genital mutilation) is illegal and a crime in Australia. or anywhere civilised. Here in the UK tail docking and clipping ears is not accepted these days. Vets would not do it! This Westminster is in the USA. And there so many breeds are cropped and cut. Cruel. Our mini has beautiful long fluffy white ears- part of her character, we love her ears.
