I think upbringing matters. Sushmita has always been down-to-earth and genuine. She has also never been an industry "insider" - does her own thing and is not into the Bollywood party scene. So, not surprised that her daughter is humble and hard to dislike.

at least, this kid is not being ‘launched’ by some lameass productions like Dharma and having paps follow her around to everywhere. Its only natural for these kids to be drawn to this profession as since their childhood they were surrounded by it. But that said, looks like she’s genuinely invested and has the talent to be an Actor. Only time will tell. The likes of Sara and Ananya will keep getting more offers despite not giving good performances whereas these ones without the backup of the lobby will not have that many opportunities.
I'm completely fine with nepotism as long as they dont take advantage of their power. Do it the right way by auditioning and that is justifying since you are not talking away another person's spot but instead earned it
P.S Alia Bhatt's struggle doesnt count. Kjo knew she was a star kid and even admitted to casting her knowing she is Mahesh Bhatt's child(on the contrary he would've been brutal if there was a plus sized girl that wasnt as star kid)

I won't call it nepotism at all... Sushmita's daughters are no way born with a silver spoon in mouths.. They are adopted kids and sushmita is doing exceptional by making a life of these kids.... Sush's contribution is awesome
Adopted kids are your own kids and if the parent is rich and famous they get all the privelages that biological children get because Sushmita is her mother. Kids who aren’t related to famous people don’t have the connections they do which makes theme exposed to opportunities early on. Renée can just walk into a producer’s office and ask for roles whereas other people in your country India cannot just go to a producer and ask because they won’t get the time of day. They’ll give audition after audition and end up with nothing well into their 30s because your industry is tiny and most roles go to known people and people who are already in the industry. Also Bollywood has proven over and over to be a dark place for people who don’t have any support or connections. India is a very corrupt country and people have gotten away with murder so many times.
