Ì am Sally. I loved the seriousness with which you covered this question. I'm the one who doesn't like it when you are silly. But I still love you. This is from silly Sally!
Fr., I always appreciate your videos. I don't think you were outright wrong here, but... This time, I think it would have been worth noting the long-held belief that while there is one source of all goodness and happiness in heaven, our capacity for it differs from one person to the next. 1 Corinthians 15:41-42 - St. Paul compares the resurrection of the dead to the varying brightness of celestial bodies: "There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory. So it is with the resurrection of the dead." This suggests that the glory each person enjoys in Heaven corresponds to their merits on earth. This is in line with many saints teachings as well.
@colleenciufo4653 I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean God's salvific grace? We are talking about the saved, of course. And anyone enjoying the beatific vision is filled with God's grace. It's just that we do not all share the same capacity for it, due to our own selves being different for which we are at least partially responsible for. Did I answer your question? Christ's peace.
This clarifies some things. Confession is a big stumbling block for me. My non Catholic friends ask for forgiveness of sins in prayers & truly believe they are saved by Jesus resurrection & are saved if they ask for forgiveness for their sins themselves. Why then must we need a third party to absolve our sins if we all go to same heaven? Some things are just hard face to face to your Parish priest whom you see at mass at least weekly. I know there is no judgment, just asking.

Do you think the differences will ever be resolved?

What about God's grace?
