Nice list! Despite being a Penguin fanatic, I've got to admit that Oxford makes some great books.

I had a few medieval era penguin classics but never a collection

I enjoy the physical quality of the OWC. The paperbacks are honestly really nice to read out of and are bound well. A good series to collect forsure.

Yeah I like them more than penguins and I feel like they are a good paperback size and format

Three Men in a Boat is a sheer delight.....I hope you enjoy it. Have you read any Anthony Trollope's Barchester Chronicles? Oxford World Classics do lovely editions of the whole set 😊

Glad to hear it's good. I have not read Trollope or hardly any Engllish classics to be honest

Oxford World's Classics has a good volume titled "Horror Stories: Classic Tales from Hoffmann to Hodgson" edited by Daryl Jones.

I'll keep that in mind if I ever decide to try horror as a genre

I’m starting to like Oxford better than Penguin though I can’t really say why. Maybe because they’re prettier.

Haha they do have a nice aesthetic. I like their commentary and stuff a lot

Oxford does have other volumes of Livy. The ones I have cover Books 1-5. 6-10, 21-30, 31-40 and 41-45. They're quite chunky and so fill some space on a shelf (the Hannibal one is nearly 750 pages). I've enjoyed dipping into their version of Cicero's letters and defence speeches. Some Oxfords that I have and want to get around to in the next year or so are The Oregon Train, Journal of a West India Proprietor and a collection of short stories by Tolstoy.

Yeah I'll probably have to get all their ancient histories at some point haha.
