I learned to 2-step because a girl I had a crush on loved Neon Moon. We went to broadcasting school together and she would have to dance to Neon Moon each time it aired on our mock playlist. I fell in love almost immediately. I was into rock music, worked as a stage hand for local rock bands, so she was shocked when we all went out to a club one night and I asked her to dance to Neon Moon. Worked like a charm! We danced together the rest of the night. I remember that girl and that dance every time I hear the song.

Thanks for doing this I have loved B&D I guess since they were teamed together! Back in the early 90's I had just started going toward country and when I first B&D I was hooked! I have seen them many times in concert once with the Great Reba Mc Entire as well and they NEVER give a bad show!! When they split I was crushed, I thought how could they do this, but then again 20 years is a longtime like they said. I am very happy Reba stepped in and IMO got them back together! When they three of them are together you can see how much they enjoy playing together and I am very happy they are back together. Many have tried but there is only one B&D and they have proven time and again that they are genuine artist that love their fans and I am sure I can say right back WE LOVE THEM TOO!!
They closed out the Louisville Truck Show for years. Took up where Alabama left off. And, all you had to do was show your commercial driver's license to get two free tickets. There must have been 30,000 truckers and wives and friends for the show I saw, and man did they ever put one on!!!

I seriously think it boils down to being on the road all the time. Note they're not touring, but doing shows only in Vegas. Touring for as long as they did, well that's an amazing feat in and of itself. People don't realize what a grind it is.
@@danielschmidgall9571 Yeah they may do a few gigs here and there, I suppose, but that's not the same as a constant tour. One reason many artists keep touring and performing is that these days, recording sales don't pull the money like they used to. Of course since they wrote a lot of their own songs, so far as I know, they do get royalties off that, but even that's not what it used to be Concert money, less costs, is mostly theirs though. So many artists keep performing even into what would be retirement years for most people. Sad, but that's the way of it in the digital age. Personally, I think the recording companies were stupid for ever going to digital, they should have realized how easy it was to copy in that format, with little or no loss in quality. but no, they wanted us all to run out and buy all our albums again on CD. I did buy a few beloved albums on CD, but they generally only get played once, then put onto my computer and I played them off that... but I lost that computer, so I still have the CDs.
Yeah... sort of like me. Spent a fortune on VCR tapes... boxes and boxes and boxes of them. So... when the DVD recorders came out, spent hour and hours and hours copying them over to DVD. They take up so much less room, and I donated the VCR tapes to a local church thrift shop. Then a buddy sold me a Sony DVD Disc Explorer that holds 400 DVD's. Like the old jukebox. It's great... except I had to create a damn spreadsheet so I can find the one I want to watch!!! And, with RUclips and Bing... now have over 500 movies on an external hard drive. So... the hard part isn't what to watch... it's where the hell did I put it!!!

Ronnie: "20/20 hindsight we should have just taken a break and let the dust settle"...no truer words for B&D have ever been said!
So guys, don't just get back in that saddle, STAY IN IT!! You've been missed. Country Cowboys Till The End!
We Miss You Brooks & Dunn !We So Enjoyed Your Tunes . Truly a Pair 😉
I was never a huge country music person until I heard the song, Neon Moon. Been hooked ever since.
early 90's was the last great generation of country IMO. Not saying nothing good has been made since, thats not true. But it was the last of the golden era i think.
I remember that girl and that dance every time I hear the song.
l agree with you, indeed Brooks and Dunn is a great and talented artist who's songs never goes out of style,he's one of my favorites artist, he's songs still and always heals the Soul…

Saw them in 1991 at Midnight Rodeo in Albuquerque, NM , always liked them a lot .
I went to see Brooks and Dunn last night and the concert was fantastic!
Nobody can belt out a song like Ronnie Dunn❤️❤️❤️
They were the best team ever. Country radio came alive in the 90s
They closed out the Louisville Truck Show for years. Took up where Alabama left off. And, all you had to do was show your commercial driver's license to get two free tickets. There must have been 30,000 truckers and wives and friends for the show I saw, and man did they ever put one on!!!
Love Brooks&Dunn together or independently.....
Kitt was a Preacher's Kid that became a Preacher then quit because his heart was with his writing and music!
Dunn always lands on his feet.
Kix is the name
when I saw the bio of kix is said nothing of him being a preacher
@Kathryn Briley Actually, you should really listen to this again. *Ronnie Dunn* was on his way to the ministry but chose music instead. *Not* Kix Brooks.
@@toddvandell85 he served as a music and youth minister at Avoca Baptist Church in Avoca, Texas.

Kix is so cute he was so animated at the Houston rodeo here Ronnie is an icon. This makes me hungry for a Mexican dinner
Ahhhh, Step back and consider just how blessed you've been and then leave it all behind fellas !
Glad to see them back at, however as far as the voices go while both can sing and have a hit record. Ronnie has what most superstars have. A uniqueness. One phrase into a song and you know it's Ronnie Dunn. And that is what superstars are made of.
I seriously think it boils down to being on the road all the time. Note they're not touring, but doing shows only in Vegas. Touring for as long as they did, well that's an amazing feat in and of itself. People don't realize what a grind it is.
They are actually on the road a bit this summer. But a residency gig in Vegas is great for any artist.
Love brooks and dunn
The hardest part of a being in a band, is keeping a band together.
I love Kicks Brooks & Ronnie Dunn.❤️❤️
