Not true...alot of people get fucked in different ways and different reasons...my older brother signed up after 9/11. He wanted to be a seal but an injury stopped him...he was a corpsman, put in 5 years, multiple deployments...ended up training with a marine recon unit for 2 years...when it was getting close to deployment he couldn't go with his team because couldn't get security clearance...was denied citizenship... we're from Poland...he didn't file a tax return for some bs job he had years ago....so couldn't be naturalized...it destroyed him..broke his heart...his unit went to Afghanistan he left the Navy....few years later came home to NYC an was killed...so he put in 5 years during a time of war an didn't even get citizenship..his gi bill was peanuts out in Cali...and that's just one story of immigrants fighting American wars building american cities and getting the shaft....it's not right...
Just remembered another one... Chinese immigrant signs up..had some kind of issue. Can't remember what...he's goes to court is facing discharge an deportation...which is a death sentence...because back in china that's considered treason....
