FYI- I-90 through Erie County PA is not a toll road…into NY ..I-90 does turn into a toll road / turnpike… I do enjoy your videos…

That entire area around the great lakes is a great place for RVing in my opinion. Mind you Mass, NH, Vermont, and Maine are also pretty fabulous. I am looking forward to following your travels through our Maritime Provinces....continued safe travels.

Upstate NY is indeed beautiful. As for travel snacks, I'll split the difference and go with chocolate covered apple slices😂.
We spend a fair amount of time each year exploring and camping in NY state. We never get tired of the different regions,activities,villages, and state campgrounds. Next summer were going to start in the finger lakes. Work out way through the western Adirondacks. Through the st Lawrence region and head through the Canadian Provinces of Quebec and New Brunswick to the Gaspe Peninsula. Then to Nova Scotia and back through Maine. 3 to 4 months is the plan.

So many familiar scenes. I loved it. Sorry that your Maine route took you up the interstate. If you had chosen Rte 1 you would have passed less than a half mile from our house. We vacationed in Nova Scotia last summer. This summer it will be a family rendezvous at Watkins Glenn, NY. A group of us stayed at Seawall in Acadia NP for a long Memorial weekend.
We love upstate NY too!

Thanks so much for making this only 22minutes! As a former NY, NY's down point is the same as New England. Lots of low bridges, RVers don't seem to understand what 10'6" means! And the problem with Interstates is every thing is much more expensive, and the service area on the NY Thruway are often 10-30cents more per gallon than just of the exit (Which is 20-30cent more than 3 miles from the exit!)
Too funny, we stayed at Narrows Too as well last summer. Beautiful location. Hope you enjoyed it.

Looks like you enjoyed good weather that whole way. Even following the 330 rule four days of travel is a lot. I hope you had a couple of nights to decompress before heading further north! Happy travels.

Enjoyed the video. You guys don’t do too many travel videos and that what I like to watch most. I like to see the roads and the scenery so we can decide where to plan our next trip 😊

Looking forward to your trip reports of the maritimes. On our bucket list (along with a trip to the UP!). Pine Lake is nearby (we're in Worcester), but this is the first we've heard of it!
We were in upstate NY recently. Highly recommend Finger Lakes RV Resort on Seneca Lake if your return trip takes you that way.

It looks like you are using the Gamin navigation at the same time. Please keep posting videos as you do the Canadian Maritimes tour. Bo looks so happy.

Pa turn pike does not go by Lake Erie,I-90 does you had me confused to where you were.
What is the name of the campground in NY that was on the Mohawk River. It did look beautiful.
Haha. Sitting here in space 715 watching your trip wondering how you find such nice parks to spend the night. I look at pictures and pick one but it is rarely green and with trees like the pictures. What’s your trick.

Were there a lot of tolls on this route? Do you have the Ezpass or the FL sunpass pro? I only have the IL Ipass and the FL sun pass pro which says it should work but I've not tested it yet and we're heading that way.
Hi and thanks for asking! Mike and Jen talk about this briefly in the video - they were on toll roads in Ohio, Penn and New York. They mention the cost was about $100. They could have gone other ways to avoid the tolls but opted to use some toll roads since they were most direct. - Team RV Lifestyle

Great video.. I have a question we are looking between a 5th wheeler and a airstream.. I was was wondering what one is easier to pull.? I would like to help my husband with the driving..
A fifth wheel is easier to pull, back up and manuever.
I will second that on the fifth wheel and add that they are generally safer overall than a Travel Trailer to operate. Not to knock travel trailers but in an emergency situation with size and weight being equal I would much rather be pulling/controlling a fifth wheel.
