@@mudguppy3823 There was a lot of resetting for desirable bonus EXP levels and boss abusing while playing Easy Mode PoR to get all the transfers. The FE speedrunning discord has a PoR transfer file to download with theoretical max stats from level-ups on every character, but I wanted to engineer my own so I could use the stat-boosters a bit differently.
Well who cares what Tormod got seeing his fate 😂 well I guess he helped in Part 1

congrats bro. Love this game, its my favourite game ever... I've beaten around 20 times, Its by far the game that I've play the most. Its actually very hard to beat it in hard mode, especially for inexperienced players pretty cool to see this run
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Radiant Dawn is among my most played games, I have loved doing so many different challenge runs focusing on particular characters. I know it's not for everyone and Hard mode especially can be daunting, with some features removed like weapon triangle and checking enemy ranges, but it is incredibly replayable for me.
Definitely one of my fave FEs of all-time. One of the things that really sells me on this game compared to a lot of the others is that everyone in this game has a shot at becoming good if given the attention. Usually there's a small group of units that are just bad and not worth using but EVERY unit in this game could make your final chapter roster if you so choose, it's just a matter of who!
The replay value and ability for everyone to potentially be made into an Endgame unit with investment are just a couple of the many reasons this game is my favourite! One of my most memorable playthroughs was going into Endgame with all non-Royal Laguz. Managing to train units like Lyre, Lethe, Kyza, Ranulf, Mordecai, Muarim, Volug and Vika up to high level with Satori Signs was such a unique and rewarding experience.
Very impressive! I recently played through path of radiance and radiant dawn for the first time (havent played other fire emblems) and they seriously have become two of my favorite games of all time. Cheers on the run
Very nice run! Love this game I grew up playing it with friends ^^ Sometimes I notice you shove Zihark around for seemingly no reason, is it to farm support points? Haven't played in a bit not sure about all the mechanics haha.
Thank you, I'm glad you watched it as a fellow long-time fan. It's been my all-time favourite for many years :) Yes, Zihark and Volug need to gain enough support points so they can keep raising their support level after chapters. Shove gives support points so sometimes Zihark needs to get shoved around to reach that benchmark.
I imagine it wouldn't be too different, since Bonus EXP is used the vast majority of the time to reach important stat benchmarks. There aren't many situations that rely on normal level-ups which would be affected heavily by fixed growths, but I am not 100% sure since I am far from an expert on fixed growths
I personally haven't attempted to speedrun Normal Mode, but perhaps I will someday. I would definitely enjoy being able to feasibly use Jill, since that is the biggest difference between Hard and Normal I believe. Overcoming that challenge and utilising methods involving Zihark and Volug in her place was one of the most satisfying parts of strategising Hard runs for me.
Interesting that you went with Titania especially considering the low cap stats of Paladins in this game. Was this personal preference or was their method behind this?(obvs because you have the record) Also if you were playing a normal run, some of your levels were unbelievable. Whats next?
Titania is by far the best candidate for a second map-sweeper alongside Haar and Ike in Parts 3 and 4, respectively. Access to forged Hand Axes and Sol while also having a high enough base level to reach promotion easily despite Hard Mode's lower EXP and Bonus EXP availability are vital, especially since Haar has to use the only accessible Master Crown. Her Axe Paladin's caps would indeed be a problem. It's one of several reasons I work to promote her before Part 3-4, since she needs the promotion stats for that chapter but after that, her stats are sufficient to consistently get everything done I need her to. In the future, I may do Normal or Easy Radiant Dawn runs or attempt to work on harder difficulty runs for other FE games, not entirely sure yet :)
when forging, if you have a coin, extra text comes up asking if you want to use it for a random chance at extra boosts not consistent (most times it doesn't even do anything extra) and just wastes time
I do it to avoid the coin step of forging Zihark's Steel Sword in Part 1. I have accidentally forgotten to drop them and wasted time during practice runs so I guess force of habit too :)

Do you have a specific grinding method that allows you to transfer so many maxed out units from PoR?

My favorite Fire Emblem game of all time
Yo! Big ups to see someone speedrunning this on hard mode, a big congrats and keep up the good work man!!
Thank you so much! I appreciate the kind words.

@@xord5199 Figured haha, I just finished playing my first run in a while was fun! I always max out Mia and Shinon for casual runs haha.
Need to show this to Mangs, he's failed like 10 Radiant Dawn hard mode ironman runs in a row lol.
He also has failed to not sexually assault women
How much time do you think could be saved if there was an option for fixed growths?

so this is like the fastest ironman too? i didnt see you restart a chapter once.
Indeed yes!

Why did you drop the coin at 38:58?
when forging, if you have a coin, extra text comes up asking if you want to use it for a random chance at extra boosts
not consistent (most times it doesn't even do anything extra) and just wastes time

What weapon/magic levels did you transfer? Did any of them matter to this run?
I don't believe any rank transfers would matter, thankfully a lot of the game uses mainly low-rank forged weapons.
