TLDR. 14600K wins performance in 8/10 games. It`s basically a tie in 2/10 games. Longer summary including efficiency. Because efficiency/energy consumption is the selling point for the 9600X. (Low TDP/high efficiency) Witcher 3. 14600K is better at performance and efficiency Starfield. 14600K is better at performance, only consuming a bit more. CS2. 9600X technically wins in performance. But it uses more power, and who cares about what happens above 500fps anyway. 1% lows are slightly above 190fps on both. Effectively a tie IMO. Cyberpunk. 14600k is better at performance. Consuming a bit more. Forza Horizon 5. 14600K is technically on top when it comes to peak performance. But I would say it`s a tie considering all the FPS numbers. A tie when it comes to power consumption too. 14600 runs cooler. Ghost of Tsushima. 14600 wins at everything. PUBG. 14600 wins at performance. Marginally higher power consumption Flight sim. 14600 wins at performance and energy. Hogwarts Legacy. 14600 wins at everything. Horizon Forbidden west. 14600K wins at performance. Consuming a bit more. Lets hope the constant 88W on 9700X is a software error and that it is actually lower at times. I assume it is. If not it`s very embarrassing for the 9600X.
Hi, on CS2 u need to test on all performance cores. E-cores are not working well on this game, so u need to go with launch options. Command line: -threads (number of P-Cores + 1)
since the beta this game never optimized the intel cpu while cs go runs very well, they even added FSR in the game but didn't use DLSS, I think AMD spent a decent amount of money on it. Valve
perf is great for the power used, efficiency is expensive others talking nonsense, see titanium/platinum psus are they cheap one example would be my games too, theyre also optimized to run at such limited hardwares, prop to game devs and manufacturer, maybe its more challenging for them since optimizing to 4090 prob very boring for them

Wait for x3d garbage, wait for zen 6, wait for vega, blah blah that's the only excuse Amd fanboys bring when they lose badly. They are really pathetic LOL
So 14600K is better in most games
In other words core 5 arrow lake will crush it
Exactly, if this what Amd can bring with zen 5 then Intel with Arrow Lake going to demolished Amd zen 5 easily.
AMD are now making the same mistakes Intel did several years ago.
why ryzen is running at 5.3ghz? I have 9600x and always runs on/over 5.51ghz
big letdown
TLDR. 14600K wins performance in 8/10 games. It`s basically a tie in 2/10 games.
Longer summary including efficiency. Because efficiency/energy consumption is the selling point for the 9600X. (Low TDP/high efficiency)
Witcher 3. 14600K is better at performance and efficiency
Starfield.
Marginally higher power consumption
Flight sim.
I don't think this video is real 😂😂😂😂😂
Where is performance upgrade ? So bad Ryzen 9000
Garbage amd
True
I have i7 14700k with rtx 4080 brilliant cpu without any problems @@od1sseas663
Amd got caught milking fanboys by selling garbage cpu.
Wasted my time, should've bought the 7800x3d instead but now it's out of stock in my region
Valve
@@chien.nguyen.who th would enable fsr anyways, it just makes the game harder due to how bad it is
No one looking at cpu and GPU wattage amd wins for me
for +8 threads and 20$, 14600k for sure, even with those issues
Probably no issues with the 14600K, and microcode update is already available on MSI motherboards, if you want to sleep safely.
AMD motherboards are too expensive.
NADA MAL PRO 9600X?? O O I5 TEM QUANTOS CORES?? AQUI ESSE I5 CUISTA MAIS D 2 MIL REAIS
I think the 9000 series should have been the 7000 series.
Common Intel W
Intel always win !
perf is great for the power used, efficiency is expensive others talking nonsense, see titanium/platinum psus are they cheap
one example would be my games too, theyre also optimized to run at such limited hardwares, prop to game devs and manufacturer, maybe its more challenging for them since optimizing to 4090 prob very boring for them
Zen 5 is mediocre as the node upgrade from 5nm to 4nm is minimal. Chips are reaching a node bottleneck
It's most of the time at 88 watts
It's limited
Increase the power and test again
Peformance Ryzen 5 9600X Complete failure🫢
Iam worry about 15th gen 2nm intel king
theyre heavily optimized chips so maybe just power is true, their perf in apps beside gaming is align with specs, very bad lul
Intel Arrow Lake will demolished Amd zen 5 easily.
88 W all the games wth????
Amd zen 5 is really flopped trash of CPU isn't it? The facts ryzen 5 9600x while being $100 more expensive than an i5-14600k but also losing in performance shows zen 5 is really a joke !! Once Intel Arrow Lake comes out Amd and all Amd paid shills techtuber gonna looks like an entire circus for overhyping this flopped garbage amd cpu !!!
Equally matched. 😮
Ryzen 7 7800x3D is the way.
Please 9700x vs 13600k
AWESOME 13600k FOR THE WIN !!!!
13600kf vs 9600x please
Yo man. 9600x vs 7600x pls
Masterpiece! Videos are amazinng
LOL let's see who will talk about the power consumption now
Nobody cares
Power efficiency is good, but it needs to have more than JUST efficiency.
Но тут счетчик энергопотребления у амд не работает...
It's not that much different because intel made for both Gaming and rendering and the fun fact is the collaboration between Microsoft and intel windows 11 perfectly run on intel processors 😄😄😄
@@od1sseas663 weird that you Ratio'ed her. Normally everyone on here obsesses over power efficiency.
Test again with bios update (for Amd)
What's wrong with amd
It's just being bottlenecked on 1080p nothing else
waste of send 2.
7500F, still the best for gaming only 🎉❤😅😂
at least it does game well, or did
Broken C.PWR Monitor with 9000 series. bruh
Techpowerup just tested the 9700x with SMT disabled. You should probably do that in your next video. According to their new review, the 9700x with SMT disabled gets within millimeters of the 13900k and 14900k
yeah and then u guys should allow my 13600k overclocked results to be allowed. Curbstomps 9700x in everything.
Что-то слабоват 9600X от AMD
Ну кстати да....сам сижу на i7 13700k и понимаю лучше не рыпатся
AMD back to being Bulldozer 😂😂😂
Non x3D are a joke lol
Disappointing, is this an innovation?
but Intel isn't so bad😅
yes amd fans said x3d.will beat it
@axloddonly those that didn't pass the quality control and get marked as high end anyways
i5 is probably as stable and effective as alot of other cpus
@@bradleymasangkay818 If you play games, just buy x3D but you need to play and work at the same time, Intel is always the choice you need
@axloddthe issue is pretty much fixed and some source says intel submitted and does rma for dying cpus, tho people keep saying they're not...
still avoid 14th gen, the price still expensive as heck for overclocked 13th gen
9600X costs 30% more than i5-14600KF right now, yikes. I will wait for a price drop or hopefully the 7600x3D to be available if that CPU even exists. I don't want to buy Intel bruh, their CEO is a creep
9600x has locked wats at 88w
But AMD has high boost and 50% lower power than intel😂
Temparure is same.
What?
The thing is intel made for both Gaming and rendering so no wonder idiot 😂😂😂
Zen5 is Zen4+
