I love the music in this video! very well done :) as for color in coral...I have had the opportunity to actually see various different types of coral, and while most of the coral body is brown the growing tips are vibrant! The staghorn coral (Acropora cervicornis) has blue growing tips, and if you take a quick jaunt around your favorite search engine you'll find all kinds of beautiful pictures of coral. I found a fun article about the Australian staghorn coral (Acropora spathulata) that comes in various shades of purple! Since the weather is warming in Australia, I hope you will be able to do some live research in a reef somewhere...but whether your deep dive is literal or literary in nature I wish you the very best! Looking forward to seeing how the diorama will turn out :)
Thank you so much! That info is awesome! I have a former student who is working on a reef as a marine biologist. This build is as much for her as it is for me. I was going to pick her brain for all the sorts of details you just gave me. The literal deep dive is going to have to wait, but it is absolutely on my bucket list.
These aquatic world pieces look fantastic . As well so many detailed . One another great project ! Looks forward for the next stage .
Thanks Robert. I can’t wait to paint the coral. So full of character.

Thank you. Much appreciated.
The set looks great, wonder how they would look like after painting.

I think we used the old Art Dept. One until it was a safety hazard to use. Good times…
