World war 1 or 2 would tough to get to work but it would force stealth because combat would be very hard but it could work also the main focus of the game especially during World War II coukd be focusing on one of the many assassination attempts that Hitler survived and when they fail the disillusioned assassin could try to take revenge for something like that

In my opinion tackling WW2 really wouldn't be all that that different from a lot of other stuff the series has done. Assassin's Creed has taken us to some seriously dark points in history. The only difference is that WW2 is in relatively recent memory. But I think it wouldn't be that difficult to pull it off respectfully.

The first thing to do I think would be to rework the lore. In ac lore, churchill, staline, roosevelt and hitler were all members of the templar order, which could be problematic to pull off. I think, the best way to do it would be to not shy away from the grim reality of the time, but not to spend too much time on it in order not to change it into a pity game. The game would be centered around the french resistance to avoid battlefields and too much gun use. The character could be a french jew as it would add some darker scenes more easily in the story. While a bit cliché, the end would likely see you infiltrate hitler's bunker, only to find his body double there (yes, in ac lore hitler wasn't in his bunker), then, youdn'd have to escape, avoiding allies soldiers going in there guns blazing to hunt him down and put an end to the tyrant, leaving him in the dirt he was hiding in to be forgotten

I think a WW2 AC in Berlin or an occupied City like Amsterdam, Oslo or Warsaw (Not Paris because we had this in Unity) would be great. The Assassins could work together with ressistance groups and fight Abstergo working together with the Nazis. Social stealth during a political speach or sneaking in an important building sounds amazing to me. Silenced pistols and hidden blades could fight against rifles with bajonets. I think it has been established in AC 2 that Hitler died from the hands of the assassins (most likely through an air assassination) after killing his body double and escaping the bunker. In fact, it was literally said that Roosevelt, Churchill, Stalin, and Hitler were all puppets of the Templars.
In other words, if you want some peak conspiracy theory bullcrap, play AC 2 and Brotherhood.
In fact, what I really want the WW2 story can show is how that conspiracy theory that Churchill had Mussolini killed to avoid exposing some details between the two of them in the public. Considering that he was established as a Templar puppet, Ubisoft can further enhance that story.

Occupied Warsaw or Holland during WW2 would actually be sick, I could see the protagonist as a member of the Resistance not being satisfied with their resistance cell's progress in liberation so they turn to the Assassin's but end up having a personal ideological conflict later on with them , similar to Arno in Unity. Mix in heavy melee stealth combat with a healthy dose of gunplay and you could have a really good AC game, almost similar to a Splinter Cell or a Saboteur.

Something really cool about Brotherhood, Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla was being able to visit the same location within the historical Animus simulation and the real world inhabited by the modern day characters. Revisiting the Colosseum but in 2012 was neat and seeing Monteriggioni with modern day cars and power boxes felt like seeing a home changed just enough to be not quite home anymore. Making this a bigger feature has potential, using the Animus to scope out locations of interest in the present day like a sort of treasure hunt, a bit Dan Brown and playing more into historical mystery/conspiracy. This could be how to do a game with more modern day focus without taking from the historical aspect entirely.

Ubisoft is really wasting the opportunity to do an AC title based on the Mexican Revolution that's such a good idea and a lot happened in that time, it even affects us mexicans to this day, they could even use a protagonist similar to how they used Ezio for the Renaissance in Italy, they could even follow the steps of what they already know how to do... like with Connor and Edward or Ezio and Altair and first establish a protagonist in the Mexican Independence, using characters like Hidalgo, Morelos and Josefa Ortíz de Dominguez, they could also explore events like The Battle of Puebla (5 de Mayo and make North Americans stop being confused... May 5th is not our independence day lol) all the way to our protagonist in The Mexican Revolution era, but ig Ubisoft isn't ready to do anything that isn't a cash grab, Mexico has such a good history for a game like Assassin's Creed whom is in need of a fresh turn, Europe is too used now and North America is a cliché, Mexico is also a country with a culture which is not well known and which is quite misunderstood, specially by our neighbors lol, which is ironic, Assassin's Creed used to be a game where you could play but also learn and get familiar with a culture and the characters around it, not just a "era simulator" and I think Mexico is the best candidate out of all the eras that already exist in AC (China, Japan, Egypt, Italy, Constantinople, USA, Greece, etc)

Do I need to mention that corruption in Mexico can VERY easily be used as a way of saying the Templars won the battle in Mexico? And we could have a Desmond 2.0 in the modern era México in México City 100 years in the future (2023) and most cartels would actually be Templars which you have the task to take them all down as the Assassin protagonist, politics and press would be so BRILLIANT because Templars would make sure Assassins are looked at as the bad guys and make people think assassins are the "true cartels" dude... the potential for the narrative is there... For WW1 I agree that the early stages of the war like the German invasion Belgium would make a great setting. As for the issue with automatic weapons, that just creates more incentive for stealth and situation control with iconic tools like the berserker darts and smoke bombs.
We even see how WW1 could be handled in the Syndicate rift missions following Jacob’s descendent, as well as WW2 with Unity’s (which in my opinion was more enjoyable than Syndicate’s, although it relied more on spectacle).
I also think WW1 could be a good opportunity to focus back into the shades of grey AC used to have in entries like AC1, AC3, and of course Rogue by having the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand being performed by the Brotherhood, meaning that The Great War was indirectly caused by the Assassins.
Another direction that could be taken with an AC game set during WW1 is following Nikolai Orelov and the assassination of Rasputin from the comics.

Today it is seen as an outdated misnomer.
And AC Valhalla takes place in the middle ages and AC 2 can also be seen as late medieval depending on the transition date you use. I know a lot of Americans like to let the medieval age end in the 1450s because of the fall of constantinople, but that's more a military-history period end. The more common generic end date is 1500. Ezio was born in 1459 and the second DLC ends in 1497. Although all of the armor and most of the clothing in the game is purely fantasy.

On the stone age setting, there's something I'd like to point out. Canonically, the first humans were created by the Isu. Adam and Eve, along with some other humans, escaped their captors/creators in the midst of the destruction caused by the meteor that struck the earth and wiped out the Isu and most of the humans. My point in saying this is that an AC game set in that time period wouldn't be IRL historically accurate to begin with, and the people in that time period would almost certainly have language of some form more sophisticated than grunting and pointing

I think the wild west and ww2 settings could work under certain conditions.
For the wild west, it would basically work as a larger scale ac 3, with a few llarge cities in the east coast, and then replacing the frontier by a wild west setting. I'm not american, so you'll have to forgive me if I mess up your history a bit, but the story woumd follow the gold rush and the advancements of the train towards the west. The character would initially be a bounty hunter working for the sheriff of some small town in the west. One day, he would be tasked with killing 6 criminals, members of a local gang, the eagle gang (name's up for more work). He would hunt them down and kill them, he identifies them as all of them wear an eagle skull necklace, one of them would fall in the durt, leaving behind the assassins' symbol. After hunting them down, he would ask about the strange symbol he saw, making the sheriff throw him in jail. While there, he would be visited by a native american wearing an assassin's outfit. He would be infirmed that the gang was working for the assassins, and that they were innocent. To atone for his crime, the bounty hunter would become an assassin, working to uncover the conspiracy created by the templars in the east and to free the west from their influence. They would've caused the gold rush to look for isu artifacts hidden in the west, and the protagonist would be tasked with retrieving the artifacts and killing the templars. To justify using stealth, I would allow the player to play as a normal gunslinger (after all, many games in the franchise already have guns / bows) however, the difficulty would be extra hard since guns make a lot of noise, so you'd rapidly end up facing small armies. You'd be given a bow and a hidden blade by the natives, an arsenal that would be completed with smoke bombs, poison / berserk darts and hidden gun (I believe the name of those small guns is a derringer, basically the small gun that the doctor pulls out in django unchained) given by the east coast brotherhood. Taken from liberation, you'd also have areas you can't access fully equiped, so you could only use your hidden blade, hidden gun and tools in these areas.
For the ww2, I think the main idea is to avoid going to the battlefields (which is why a ww1 game wouldn't really work since trenches / no man's lands aren't the best place for an assassin). So, I would make it about the french resistance and their efforts to free their country from the invaders. Same as the wild west setting, you could do it only as a gunslinger, however, there would be a high likelihood of dying doing so. Especially since ammo would be very limited so you couldn't just waste all your ammo and hope you'll be fine.
Except for stone age, I believe that every setting mentioned in this video could at least work as a condensed, 2 to 3 hours experience in ac infinity if they choose to do this kind of micro games

Most people advocate for a WW1/WW2 AC game, but I believe that an interwar period game could also be an interesting setting. There are multiple ways in which the gun problem could be solved, a grim aesthetic that shows how the second war was a consequence of the first one (and other stuff of course) would also be great. It would also be nice if they add some elements of Russian revolution that tie to some of the things that took place in The chain or The fall.
Other periods that would be great to explore are:
-The Southamerican independences (and i emphasize this as a History student)
    -Hatian revolution
    -Hispanic-Azteca war
    -Indian independence
-Altough it would be really complicated, there are a lot of russian history moments that would be great. A game about the russian revolution that culminates in the Stalin takeover could create a good story about the radicalization of ideals.
    -Sakoku in Japan
-revisiting american history in the XIX century would be great, specially around the topic of the second slavery or the civil war. It would be really interesting to see how that period affected both the Templar order and the Assassins as well. And the theme would be the way in which both the north and the south practiced various forms of racist influence, the assassins would not only be dealing with a war against templars, but also a war against ideals and traditions.

I've never liked the idea of modern day Assassin's Creed. Modern surveillance would make the level of stealth we have currently impossible, there's too much high tech stuff that would make the Assassin's gadgets worthless, body armor would make their weapons useless or much less effective, the number and quality of guns in the modern world would make open combat impossible, buildings are much smoother and harder to climb unless you're in a city with lots of old buildings or just a really dense and vertical city, and on top of that you obviously wouldn't have the memory/time travel shit going on. So the level of change needed to make an AC game work in modern day would make it no longer an AC game.
Basically you get Mirror's Edge with the unique visuals replaced by boring realistic visuals or a Watch Dogs ripoff. Neither of which are Assassin's Creed.

I just want to say that when talking about the stone age people just refer to people still living an hunter-gatherer life while from the start of the neolithic era most of the population already lived a sedentary life in the fertile crescent but also in other places of the world.. an assassin's creed in the neolithic is something that could really be considered and would even work well because of the presence of many big settlements as far back as 7000 BCE. Some examples would be catalhuyuk in 7000 BCE or Eridu in 5000 BCE, these two cities probably had from 10000 to 20000 or more inhabitants during the neolithic.. also remember that people stopped living in huts from like 9000 BCE or even before so most of these proto cities would be kind of similar to the typical egyptian towns we have seen in Origins.. the stone age is an interesting period and I would say to keep an eye on it and not overlook it for any reason. Just do a bit of research on it and you'll be amazed seeing how advanced our ancestors where even more than 10000 years ago (I'm currently writing a pitch for an assassin's creed game set during the natufian period so in the period that caused the shift towards agricolture and society, probably will do nothing about it but if I manage to become a game dev I'll consider making a fan game in this time period)

If you look at some of the least liked AC games like AC3 or Odyssey or even Valhalla. It’s not the time period that you don’t like it’s the boring or non inspiring gameplay. Then if the problem isn’t gameplay it’s the story being terrible. I think even a modern day game would work, IF IT WAS PROPERLY HANDLED. Some people might not remember this with recency bias but before AC Origins nobody wanted Egypt as a location bc it would be filled with loads of sand and not very many building to climb and therefore the parkour would be ass. Then we were all pleasantly surprised by how amazing the time period was due to the game being properly cared for with detail and effort pumped everywhere.

    Assassins Creed/Warriors Creed.
AC Vikinghype / AC 3/ AC Black flag/AC Greece are not ASSASSINS CREED, they are Warrior/Mercenary/Pirate creed. and from that perspective, they are not that bad.
If Ubisoft took those concepts and created their own game line ,cutting out the stealth, then that would be epic.
I don't care one bit about the story outside of history/the animus, I just want the historical content. My favourite ACs are 1,2,Brotherhood and Unity. Revelations setting of Constantinople was superb, but the half arsed npc design ( copy and paste potato face) really placed that game on the back burner for me. I look forward to playing Origins but have not yet done so due to the crap quality of the rest of the games.
Ubisoft should really just make two different games: AC and Warriors Creed, where you fight as famous soldiers of History. I want to fight as a Templar Crusader, a knight fighting for God in Medieval Paris (Europe) all the way to Jerusalem (the Levant) and everywhere in between..
AC is about assassins in highly populated cities where killing is a crime...hence the stealth. AC should NEVER be an OPEN WORLD (apart from Egypt/the Levant), but only set in various large cities. I don't want open world, I don't want guns and I loathe MYTHOLOGICAL / MAGICAL shit looking at you AC Viking hype train. Keep it 100% Historical. I loved that AC1 gave tiny hints about God Three in Ones existence/presence but that was never the focus. Now with AC Greece and AC Viking hype train they said, f,,ck it, lets make a fake ,crappy god of war game. .

I want historical AC again, set in the Persian Empire during the reign of Khosrow I, history is FILLED with actual assassinations, all of which can be used to recreate and relive in game.
And on the side, Ubisoft can create Warriors creed that focuses not on stealth but on exclusively combat, environment, immersion, and story. Emphasizing the differing combat techniques, cultures and histories of different warriors of the past. Such as the Crusader knights, the Mohicans, the Vikings, the Byzantines,Inca Kamyuks , the Samurai, Pirates and so on. Like Red Dead Redemption but set in medieval / ancient times.

I think adding an fps mode and turning AC into an immersive sim/social stealth hybrid can be used to pull the WW1/WW2 setting off. Like make all the weapons install or almost instakill, add dialog options, make up and and camouflage options, add classical stealth to social stealth, combine open city and open parkour levels with immersive sim style levels.
I know it's almost impossible to pull off, because designing for fps and tps perspectives is different, but I really think that this should be the direction, instead of trying to be a witcher clone or a gta clone.

A setting I would like to see is in India. It can be set in the BC period, like when the Aryans took over the Dravidians or during the time of Ashoka. Or it can be in colonial India, maybe during the Sepoy mutiny. Overall, I want to see an AC game during any period when Europeans were colonizing Asia.

i disagree. ww2 can be done imo and i think its one of the more interesting philosophical eras. i agree on stone age tho and wild west but i do think far future is possible if you focus on the other key values of ac. i don't see traveling back in time the most important IMO its more the historical recreations and the stealth. i can see a historical recreation of the us or france but in the far future being a way to have history and future mix together and then have the city or cities be somewhat like the favelas or what night cities japan town with a lot of parkour possibilities and a lot of assassination opportunities. maybe add some futuristic melee weapons and stealth knives or something. i don't think having guns ruins it tho because eventually ac needs a reinventing and i think guns can fit well in that look at the saboteur for example or some stealth gun games.

I would say ww1 is the best if they were to make one as it is doable on the time period with machineries not as advanced as ww2 so they can still implement the close quarter combat & have a revolver with limited bullets on the side imo. As interesting as it is to have a game be in ww2, it would definitely end up having people go guns blazing rather than having people sneaking through bunkers & camp bases to assassinate a target tho.

they can just make it like the arkham games where it is still possible to do actual combat in predator sections plus the 3rd person shooter gameplay shouldn't be a main focus nor a side thing either unless if ubisoft really wants to add it then make the assassin have a sniper like the Russian Assassin from AC chronicles or if they REALLY want to add gunplay with machine guns then it should be like Watch Dogs 1 since WD1 has very complex gameplay mechanics in which ubisoft would have to make it so that staying and shooting behind cover would make the A.I become aggressive like how 'Fear 1' utilised so that the game would incentives you to perform takedowns on enemies like WD1 and Fear but also being strategic so it would make it more complex and challenging or you can the Arkham style route witg the gameplay

No Offense, but in my opinion Ubisoft could probably make an AC game set in WW1, if its executed properly. Maybe they could take it to other locations like the Middle East or France and Russia . Hand to hand combat and melee stealth can work as well (maybe have less gunfights) along with infiltrating Axis forces that secretly have Templars.

I think WW1/2 could be an incredible setting. They'd just have to focus more on stealth, and make social stealth much more robust. They would also have to keep the assassin away from the battles. Have it set in Berlin Germany during Nazi occupation, and have a focus on investigating as a spy to find out where your target's gonna be, who he/she is, and the best time to assassinate them. If they dropped the RPG elements, it could be a really creative and fun game

The Wild West does sound good in concept, but in execution, I doubt it would be anything similar to Assassin's Creed.
The Stone Age I feel would be quite disappointing, plus I doubt anything relating to the Assassins/Hidden Ones is even around at this time, not to mention the opposite factions.
WW1/WW2 I think could work if it was set in that espionage theme, I also think Ubisoft would be respectful if they handled something like this, I mean, no, really complains about Call of Duty.... (Maybe Vanguard since it basically allowed you to make an AK-47 in WW2) I you could restrict the use of a gun the way Unity and Syndicate did it.
A current day Assassin's Creed I think could work..... if it wasn't an open world game, maybe a bit like how Splinter Cell Blacklist allowed you to choose your missions.
The Far Future I agree with as it does sound interesting and could work as a spin-off, but I also have an alternative to this, instead of the far future, why not the far past and rather than human history, we go further into an Isu world, maybe the last days before that work is wiped out.
Of course, I doubt we'd get these ideas anyway as Ubisoft seems to be staying to the path of Odyessy and Valhalla, but we may get a few spin offs like Mirage that give us that old Assassin's Creed feeling.

I think a World War One setting might be far more plausible as a setting if it was done along the lines of Lydia Fryes missions in Syndicate. Going around taking out Templars who are selling out Blightly to the Hun and so on with more missions involving Churchy, Ohhhhh Yes! Dust off the entire Syndicate London map, expand it a bit further so we can visit places like Baker Street and get more of a feel of the War taking hold as the timeline progresses. It could even feature Paris type missions similar to what Arno went through in Unity to show off the Eiffel Tower, just in WW1 before trench warfare took hold. Actually, you could still have the duel protagonists like in Syndicate, but with one set in London and the other involved in the trenches, carrying out wet work on Templar infiltrators trying to prevent Triple Entrant success and figuring out ways to access the enemy trenches to do the same over there. In fact there could be a very risky type of mission of trying to contact Assassins who are part of the German army, themselves in a very dangerous position as they have to take out Templars inside their own trenches who are trying to progress the war, and even having to sabotage their own side to prevent progression. Not to mention the odds that the Assassins might very well be at odds with one another because of their own respective loyalties to their own countries. It does sound good, but as you pointed out, it's going to be a very tricky tightrope to walk, not just in gameplay terms but to be as respectful as possible for what is still one of the most horrendous events in history.
As for the present day, that might work if they treated that in a similar way to Desmond's present-day sections in the first five games, with someone still using the animus to find secrets in the past version of their location, then leaving the animus to find the secrets in the present day version of the map. This might be a good way to recycle the Watch Dogs 3 and Syndicate versions of London to show off the difference between old London town and what it's like today. Even give the Fryes some cameos, as I would love to see them make another appearance. Actually I'd love to see them have another game all to themselves where they travel up to Glasgow to clean out the Templars in there. It would be a broadly similar looking enough setting but just given the chance to have a better written story for them. I've always had a soft spot for these two, and despite Syndicates flaws, it was the last main game in the franchise I really enjoyed in all regards. Especially controls, I've hate the control layouts for the RPG era games.
As for the future, well it would depend on how far into the future and how advanced the technology would be. If everyone has lasers as an option, what would be the point of the hidden blade when you can have a hidden laser instead? It would also depend on what kind of "future" setting it might take. Star Trek, Bladerunner, both versions of Dune, Babylon 5 and Star Wars (technically the past, but what the heck) are all very different beasts in tone, manner, politics and technology. Would this mean using the animus to look at the genetic memories of aliens? That might just make the franchise jump the Space Shark! But it could still play out as simply being the "present day" setting with the animus going to a different, earlier period.

Similar to the stone age setting, I think a game set at the start/ end of the bronze age or even in ancient sumeria would be really cool. Sumeria could show the real start of the conflict between the templars and assassins, in line with the literal birth of civilisation, where the character could traverse the ancient near east, possibly even seeing and settling in the ruins of the first civilisation.
Alternatively, at the end of the bronze age, the series could explore northern Europe and the conflicts between proto-civilisations, small villages and tribes battling over trade routes, with the templar v assassin conflict being inserted through these ancient trading networks - customisation would also be huge, weapons and armour coming from all over Europe and the ancient near east providing a wide range of diversity. this is personally my favourite, as we could experience mercenaries from ancient civilisations as well as the cultural blends that stem from (at the time) global trade, and could provide a compelling narrative through intertribal conflict, culminating in Europe's first recorded battle (Battle of Tollense Valley).
maybe that is too much for the scope of an ac game but it is a really unrepresented area of history in media and I think an ac game, if done well, would be able to provide an unforgettable and unique experience.

I would like to see a game set in WW2 in which you work as a resistance agent in occupy territories, far from the frontlines.

I think a game which tells a bunch of short stories would be great, it would need to go back to the routes of limited weapon choice like in the early games where you might have had a few classes (or in the terms of black flag and rouge, 1 weapon) just so you don't feel like you are restarting for every story.
Have a bunch of small open world hubs with a few missions in, maybe a few collectables and puzzles.
Ultimately it would allow us to visit periods like the wild west or the world wars where we can have a bit of fun with out needing to worry about map size. It could also allow us to visit some of our favourite characters. Play as a younger Shay in the brother hood or an older Shay later in life doing his templar work. Play as Edward back home in England. Play as Darius carrying out his famous assassination. Hell, could do a new game + where you can ply as any character in any Mission.

Many have forgotten that Assassin's Creed is about historical intrigue, as well as the stabby stabby freerunning.
-New Orleans, 1860. Jean Marchand, an assassin operating out of the Grandpré warehouse in new Orleans.
The very same hideout used by Aveline de Grandpré nearly 100 years before. New Orleans has grown far beyond the wooden pallisade seen in AC Liberation, sprawling all the way to Lake Ponchetrain. Jean is an assassin, but is fighting for the CSA.
It is a struggle beyond his duties as a freedom-loving assassin, and his expectations as a CSA officer.
-Egypt, 1300 BC. During a sidemission in AC Origins, Bayek stumbles across the cult of Serket. These ritualistic murderers
operate out of ancient ruins, where it's sigil has already adorned it's walls for centuries. In ancient times, the priests of Ptah were hot on their heels. Some scrolls in AC origins only reveal a fraction of what went down. It would be interesting to explore some classical *ancient* egypt. Either as a priest of Ptah, or a medieval/byzantine like Cakr protagonist who relives those ancient egyptian memories.
-Rome, 44BC. It is done. Caesar is dead... But the shitstorm is about to unleash. Brutus, Cassio, and Amunet will suffer the consequence of their actions. What follows is a civil war between the Senate, Mark Anthony, and the Hidden Ones caught inbetween.

Instead of a simple grappling hook that really hurt syndicate in my opinion they could use a gritty looking exoskeleton in order to help with parkour which means larger and more complicated building that we can parkour through. Syndicate couldn’t do that because a grappling hook is more plausible obviously. In terms of guns maybe humanity got rid of guns in the far future because they deemed them not necessary and barbaric. Also a gritty cyberpunk type of future artwork and setting would look awesome for the robes.

You could be a member of the Royal British Brotherhood of Assassins and the order would have kept an eye on Adolf Hitler since 1933 but joined the fight with Allies on the D-Day (6th of June 1944). You'd play in France first, hunting down high ranking Nazi officers and you'd slowly move towards Berlin and in fact, it was not suicide that Hitler commited, it was an assassin that infiltrated his bunker and poisoned him. The idea would not be far from AC3 where you shared battlefield with soldiers too often. It's doable.

I think ww1/ww2 games would be perfect, they don't need to make them a 3rd person shooter. What they can do is double down on the stealth mechanics, essentially the protagonist wouldn't be a soldier but an assassin behind the scenes who assassinates big leaders that are not at the battlefield. Sure you can make some battle in the trenches scenes but I think they could make an interesting game just by making the protagonist go to those high level parties, staging coups, liberating concentration camps, being stealthy af like a spy of some sort. That would be the most interesting take on an assassin's creed game and an amazing take on ww1 and ww2 which we don't see often portrayed in video games, cuz for the most part war games are, 95% of the time, first person shooters.

People need to realize having a game set during either World War doesn't automatically mean you're a soldier in active combat. It's not a war game, it's a stealth game set during a major global conflict. There's more to wars than just shooting guns and blowing crap up, especially in the World Wars, and I can't even begin to list all the secret operations and spy work and general activities that would be perfect for Assassin's Creed. Take inspiration from Hitman, where you have access to heavy weaponry but you're encouraged to be sneaky! True, it's still a recent thing and memory to many people, but it'd sure be a damn lot more respectful than Call of Duty taking a real conflict and forcing weird camos and microtransactions into it-
