Good day, Brother. According to our pioneers it was on August 11,1840, that the Ottoman Empire gave its power over to the European Christian nations. Both world wars 1 & 2, proved that the Turk was not dead, just sick. Therefore, we look at Daniel 11:44 as the last prophecy that had been fulfilled when the prophet wrote that “the last prophecy of the eleventh of Daniel had almost reached its fulfillment.” Prior to that, the Crimean War (1853-1856) was over and we’ve been awaiting 11:45 ever since. At the time when she wrote that statement, in 1905 I believe, there was yet only one singular prophecy of Daniel 11 that had not been fulfilled. That being 11:45. With that being said, and as we review Daniel 11, all the lines from 2-45 are individual prophecies in a string. Only one has yet to be fulfilled. Now,I’m reference to the Ottoman Empire coming to its end. The Lord calls the Arabs, Saracens, Turks, which are depicted in Joel 2:25, as His great army. And earlier in Genesis 16:12, He tells of the future of Ishmael’s progeny and we see the end of it in Revelation 16:12, it is not a coincidence that they are all one in the same. The first time we see the locusts is in the plague against the Egyptians and in its finality against those who would harm His people in the end. Each woe of Revelation 9 and 11 are the Turks and we are living in the third woe. According to William Miller, we are not to guess at how a Bible prophecy could be fulfilled. We are only to look at past events to verify that a prophecy “has been” fulfilled. Having said that, I don’t see that modern Turkey could fulfill Daniel 11:45, because it says “and none shall help him.” The "eastern question," was a term that was used to describe the decline of the Ottoman Empire in the 1800s and its hold on eastern Europe. The problem for the powers involved (primarily Great Britain, France, and Russia) was to “prop up” the Ottoman Empire for stability in the area. Today, the modern republic of Turkey is the premier military power in NATO after the US. So the statement “and none shall help him” could not apply to the modern day republic of Turkey. A big question to ask is this: Does Daniel 12:1 have to immediately follow the fulfillment of Daniel 11:45? The answer is NO. The “time of the end' is mentioned in Daniel 11:35 and Daniel 11:40, and there is no reference to 'time' again until Daniel 12:1, where the prophet begins with "And at that time ..." Therefore, it is a logical conclusion to reach that in Daniel 12:1 the prophet is referring to the 'time of the end' that he previously mentioned in verses 11:35 & 40. The “time of the end' began in 1798 when the papacy received the deadly wound and will continue until Michael stands up, which is the “close of probation”, the falling of the plagues, and ultimately the return of Jesus. So, the next logical question is “what does Daniel 11:45 mean?” If it doesn’t apply to the modern republic of Turkey, could it have applied to the Ottoman or Turkish Empire? The answer is yes. The Ottoman Empire was defeated in WW1. See Encyclopedia Britannica - Armistice of Mudros Oct 30, 1918. In 1920 the Treaty of Sevres abolished the Ottoman Empire. But the Turks were not happy about losing much of their homeland and they began a war for independence against the occupiers. Firstly the pioneers understood that the King of the North in Daniel 11:40 was the Ottoman Turks and not the Turkish republic of today. They were living Daniel 11verse 40 onwards in real time. Therefore as this empire came to its end duting WW1 Daniel 11:45 has been fulfilled. Secondly "Turkey" entering into Jerusalem does not mark the close of human probation the Investigative Judgement does. See Luke 13: 25; Mat. 25: 10; Dan. 7: 13, 14. But the standing up of Michael, Dan. 12: 1, appears to be another event, for another purpose. His rising up in 1844, was to shut the door, and come to his Father, to receive his kingdom, and power to reign; but Michael's standing up, is to manifest his kingly power, which he already has, in the destruction of the wicked, and in the deliverance of his people. Daniel 11 is literal history, conflict between kings. In 1798 the Papacy's kingly power ended so it cannot be the King of the North in Daniel 11:40 and beyond. Further more the bible defines "to push" as to engage, conflict, war which the Papacy could not do at that time.

Good day, Brother. According to our pioneers it was on August 11,1840, that the Ottoman Empire gave its power over to the European Christian nations. Both world wars 1 & 2, proved that the Turk was not dead, just sick. Therefore, we look at Daniel 11:44 as the last prophecy that had been fulfilled when the prophet wrote that “the last prophecy of the eleventh of Daniel had almost reached its fulfillment.” Prior to that, the Crimean War (1853-1856) was over and we’ve been awaiting 11:45 ever since. At the time when she wrote that statement, in 1905 I believe, there was yet only one singular prophecy of Daniel 11 that had not been fulfilled. That being 11:45. With that being said, and as we review Daniel 11, all the lines from 2-45 are individual prophecies in a string. Only one has yet to be fulfilled. Now,I’m reference to the Ottoman Empire coming to its end. The Lord calls the Arabs, Saracens, Turks, which are depicted in Joel 2:25, as His great army. And earlier in Genesis 16:12, He tells of the future of Ishmael’s progeny and we see the end of it in Revelation 16:12, it is not a coincidence that they are all one in the same. The first time we see the locusts is in the plague against the Egyptians and in its finality against those who would harm His people in the end. Each woe of Revelation 9 and 11 are the Turks and we are living in the third woe. Thus, God’s army (the locust) will do His work in protecting His people in the end and also destroy those who falsely claim to be His people. Yet he shall come to his end and now shall help him.

According to William Miller, we are not to guess at how a Bible prophecy could be fulfilled. We are only to look at past events to verify that a prophecy “has been” fulfilled.
Having said that, I don’t see that modern Turkey could fulfill Daniel 11:45, because it says “and none shall help him.” The "eastern question," was a term that was used to describe the decline of the Ottoman Empire in the 1800s and its hold on eastern Europe. The problem for the powers involved (primarily Great Britain, France, and Russia) was to “prop up” the Ottoman Empire for stability in the area. Today, the modern republic of Turkey is the premier military power in NATO after the US. So the statement “and none shall help him” could not apply to the modern day republic of Turkey.
A big question to ask is this: Does Daniel 12:1 have to immediately follow the fulfillment of Daniel 11:45?
The answer is NO. The “time of the end' is mentioned in Daniel 11:35 and Daniel 11:40, and there is no reference to 'time' again until Daniel 12:1, where the prophet begins with "And at that time ..."
Therefore, it is a logical conclusion to reach that in Daniel 12:1 the prophet is referring to the 'time of the end' that he previously mentioned in verses 11:35 & 40.
The “time of the end' began in 1798 when the papacy received the deadly wound and will continue until Michael stands up, which is the “close of probation”, the falling of the plagues, and ultimately the return of Jesus.
So, the next logical question is “what does Daniel 11:45 mean?” If it doesn’t apply to the modern republic of Turkey, could it have applied to the Ottoman or Turkish Empire? The answer is yes. The Ottoman Empire was defeated in WW1. See Encyclopedia Britannica - Armistice of Mudros Oct 30, 1918. In 1920 the Treaty of Sevres abolished the Ottoman Empire. But the Turks were not happy about losing much of their homeland and they began a war for independence against the occupiers. This led to the Treaty of Lausanne in 1923 which established the "Republic of Turkey" in its current form. History is clear, the Ottoman Empire "did" come to its end just as Daniel 11:45 said.
Turkey could involve itself in the chaos going on in the Middle East, but an exact re-fulfillment of Daniel 11:45 cannot occur.

See Luke 13: 25; Mat. 25: 10; Dan. 7: 13, 14. But the standing up of Michael, Dan. 12: 1, appears to be another event, for another purpose. His rising up in 1844, was to shut the door, and come to his Father, to receive his kingdom, and power to reign; but Michael's standing up, is to manifest his kingly power, which he already has, in the destruction of the wicked, and in the deliverance of his people. Michael is to stand up at the time that the last power in chap. 11, comes to his end, and none to help him. So author of this video says that Turkey is now the King of the North and the Holy Mountain is literal Jerusalem. This is not what SDA teach. This is what evangelicals teach. Totally wrong. Besides, Jerusalem is not so holy anymore.
Daniel 11 is literal history, conflict between kings.
In 1798 the Papacy's kingly power ended so it cannot be the King of the North in Daniel 11:40 and beyond. Further more the bible defines "to push" as to engage, conflict, war which the Papacy could not do at that time.

Please bear in mind when studying the bible whether old or new testament we read it literally unless symbols are used. This is a principal of understanding the bible. In the book of Revalation we do not treat every word figuratively, we understand words as literal unless figures/symbols are employed.

The Ottoman Empire disintegrated and was divided after its loss in WWI. It literally came to an end and was replaced by the Turkish Republic. The Balfour 100 gives a good overview!
