5 win streak in LGS, not really competitive armies, but achievement non the less. Started AOS in July after playing 40k and it feels so much fun. It's unusual to see all melee armies, especially on contrast with 40k where pretty much every unit have any form of range. Spell Casting is a great mechanic.
1000 points Kruleboyz, Big Yellers
- Dirty Tricks: Covered in Mud, Noisy Racket
- Grand Strategy: Spellcasting Savant
- Core Battalion: Andtorian Acolytes
- Swampcalla Shaman (General, Shaman of the Chilled Lands, Amulet of Destiny, Nasty Hex)
- Swampcalla Shaman (Da Black Pit)
- 2x6 Man-skewer Boltboyz
- 3x10 Hobgrot Slittaz (Standard Bearer, Musician)
- 1x1 Beast-skewer Killbow
Big Shooting, Huge Damaging spells, Good screen (i was surprised by Hobgrot nades), Great Monster killer.
Haven't played other armies, but Kruleboyz are fun.
I've played my first casual 1000pt tournament with them last week and was pleasantly surprised at how good it went. Glad to see them be in a good place now
On the krule waaagh: the rules state that it must be called by a "friendly general". If Gobsprakk and Skumdrekk became warlords, it wouls give us more option for the waaagh. And Skumdrekk would see more play.
Dude this video is extremely helpful, thank you
Glad it helped!
I just got the Kruleboyz half of the dominon Box and i'm pretty exited to get my first game sunder my belt (the question I have at the moment it how to expand my army)
Sludgeraker and Vulcha. There is a Christmas box with both if you can find it.
@hvtrs8%2F-wuw%2Cymuvu%60e%2Ccmm-cjalngl-UAmdM6i%5DjjmaxJaW6Ok%7Bz%2FWS thanks for the tipps, had my eyes on that one and I've even seen one for msrp. now I just need a bit of luck to maybe get a good deal somewhere
IMO we have some really good battle tactics for the first 2 turns, but then is hard to decide which one to take (turn 1: magical dominance, sneak up, turn 2: the other 2 faction tactics.) From turn 3 is really situational
Are you sure covered in mud is that bad? I used it on my 9 man unit of boltboyz and hid them behind a fence. They sniped at my opponent's Ogors for 5 turns and none of his units was able to get BEHIND their fence so that they became visible. So I had a unit of invisible snipers for the entire battle. They are invisible as long as they remain in cover. Sheeeit
Also, covered in mud on a gnashtoof is pretty neat. You can send them in a far corner, hide him in a terrain and now your opponent has to allocate ressources to get rid of hit and prevent you from exploiting a good position behind their line later in the game.
im new, just about to get some. I am confused, how does grinnin blades add 3 inches to the range of hasty shot? am i missing something?
Big Yellers does. I may have misspoke.
Very interesting.
Although you know would be much more interesting?
