We live in a new pool Villa we bought about 18 months ago. We paid around 4.3 million baht as we we decided to downsize from a larger villa we own here already. Our neighbors who decided to return to Vietnam and been in their house less than a year just sold it for over a million baht more than they paid for it and had multiple bidders and offers. Not a bad return. Our other bigger pool villa here we actually rent out and are constantly getting agents asking us to sell at a substantial premium to the 8 million baht we paid two years ago. Great place to park your money. Am married to a Thai American and we do have a legit Thai company that owns the land with a real business, employees and that pays taxes. Our neighbor who sold had a lease on the land as they aren’t Thai but it didn’t seem to impair the value at all.
Looks like you are on a winner. There are mixed stories. Much depends what you have and the area you are in. Being married to a Thai, I would expect you would have the alternative place the property under your wife's name with an Usufruct as well. Thanks for the comment.
I think the global weather patterns affect everyone. Huge El Nino going on right now and areas throughout the world are experiencing changes in normal weather....

Andy decided to stand back from the shows a year or so ago, but we are still in regular contact. He is still fit and well.
Maybe it’s me but it’s the humidity that is lower at this time of year not the heat! Humidity starts to creep up around the end of March imo!

Andrew, you are listening to the eco-warriors too much, I remember it raining during SK in the late 1980s.
Maybe it was, can't remember that far back, but it was certainly something we were not taking much notice of then.
