- At long last, we're FINALLY flying to Thailand to explore this beautiful country for the first time! In this video, we're flying with Air Asia from Hanoi, Vietnam to Chiang Mai, Thailand. Chiang Mai is one of my favorite places on the planet. Highly recommend getting up to Mon Jam and Pai on scooters. Find the wooden go-carts in Mon Jam (just up the hill from the main parking lot area / market) and enjoy the gorgeous views from the flower fields up that hill. Heaven on earth.
That sounds INCREDIBLE!!! We didn’t get to make it to Pai but Chiang Mai’s 10000% a place that we’ll visit again so we’ll make sure to get up there next visit. We did get to visit Chiang Rai for a few days which was such a change of pace. Next time we visit we’ll make sure it’s not burning season though😂😂 lessons learned for sure. Oh man Eddy, we’ve LOVED it here so far!! There’s so much to see in this country that we’ve literally had to break up our trip😂 so get ready for two separate long legs of Thailand because we’ve got A LOT of that content. As far as that chair, I’m staying FAR AWAY from those things😂 I knew I was in for a crazy ride when the thing started tipping me back LOL! Thank you so much for your encouragement and support Eddy!! I've always wanted to go to Thailand. Total bucket list destination for me. Is AirAsia similar to RyanAir price wise? Can't wait to see more of Thailand!
They're VERY similar for the most part. I would say AirAsia's a slight bit more expensive from a baggage perspective, but the distances you fly in Asia are greater than in Europe so it makes sense. We can't wait to show you a lot more of this beautiful country!!

Ah those spring rolls. Brings back memories. I forgot all about that lounge. Great food spread. and Uncle Chin food on Air Asia! I never heard of the brand either. And I remember the bundle being cheaper than booking without. Maybe it's time to head back to Hanoi again ...
The lounge is easily in the top 5 we have been to. We're thinking about heading back there soon too! We loved Hanoi! 🤗
@@ProbablyLost Other than maybe Istanbul, I think the top 5 I've been too are all in asia. Like HND, SIN, TPE, etc. Though I mix up which are Priority Pass and which I access from my Frequent Flyer status. Ofcourse much of that was pre-covid, lots of lounges have gone down hill. Especially Priority Pass. There's always the priority pass restaurants

That was a pretty smooth travel video. That lounge was insane! It looked like it had a full on buffet! Yummy! Ive sat in one of those massaging chairs and they hurt me. Lol also my feet are super ticklish. Keep up the good work!!
We thought the same thing!! It was REALLY smooth, which we both know that's not usual for us🤣 That lounge might be the best we've ever experienced honestly. Although it's only confirmed my feeling that massages just aren't for me LOL. Thank you so much for watching Eric!!!

Whats your favorite in Asia so far??
Oh man, that's a tough question. We LOVED Japan & are actually going back in the summer to see more of it. But we're also having a great time in Thailand right now. We'll be exploring the beaches in Southern Thailand in the next few weeks so I can guarantee our favorite will almost definitely switch🤣 Thanks so much for watching Matt!!!

Welcome to Thailand I love to see your reaction. Try the local street food and fruit it is very good and cheap. I recommend you carry a small change like 20, 50, 100 bath bill so, you don’t have any problems with taxi driver or Tuck Tuck. You can change from 1000 bill to a small bill by go to 7eleven anywhere in Thailand on problem.
