Reviews how reviews should be: honest, entertaining and slightly convincing. This model does look proper, the shaping is amazing and the detailing does it. Might consider this one for my old man, since he is an Aston fan. Cheers mate!
Clever Pig outsmarting that technic pin is a vibe! Your genius is geniusing! 😅 those longer axels seem like a nightmare though lol overall, the end result looks good 👍🏼
6:05 Rod through Technic connectors? LEGO themselves have used it in the recent Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle, so I guess it actually is a legal technique.
Thank you for watching and, of course, for sending the set! Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I appreciate your commitment to improvement!
Sounds like you could have used the LesDiy Technic Toolkit... only $15.99. They should have included it when they sent you the kit. Although it sounds like a hammer was all the help you needed. Anyway, good review! Just spent a pleasant half-hour perusing their site.
Thank you for watching, I appreciate it as ever! Yes those tools probably would have helped!! At least if anyone buys from them I think they throw in the toolkit for free after spending a certain amount and the technic builds seem to be mostly over that threshold. Great point, though!
I don't think so. They were likely injection moulded too. I think lego just has extremely tight tolerances for their part manufacturing and third party bricks, just aren't quite at the same level. That's just my guess, though. Honestly, the handful of parts that caused issues I could replace on bricklink for maybe $2.00. There were less than 10 small pieces that were tricky
It's cool that you build gundams! I've always loved their intricate designs. I would recommend this set too! It's a fun and challenging build. I just double-checked, and if you do want to order anything, the code CleverPig will get you 20% off. Just FYI!
That's a good idea, but I'm in the same boat! 🤣 idk if I love it enough to buy it. They're also releasing a 1:8 scale RX7 from fast and furious Tokyo drift later this year. That will be wild
@@speedybrick as a car fan, if you ever get the chance (I know they're crazy expensive), the technic 1:8 supercars are the best Lego experiences available, in my opinion
Avoid lesdiy. They sell kits of Rebrickable mocs, and present them as their own without crediting the original creator. They even rip off the photos from Rebrickable. Did you at least buy the instructions from the original creator?
Interesting! I am looking to confirm this. In full transparency, I did reach out to the designer a few weeks ago to make sure they consented to the use of their design, but I never heard back. I have reached out to another designer listed on their website to ensure that designs and IP are respected. I want to make sure designers are supported. Thanks for the comment!
Update: A designer has reached out to me confirming they have consent to produce their designs, and it's a good relationship. Perhaps this was in the past, and they are improving

Thank you, my friend, I appreciate it!! Be prepared for a couple head-scratcher moments, but the designer did an amazing job representing the Vulcan!
The nuance in those instructions! 😂
Excellent video as always, brother! 🤙🤙
Man, let me tell you, brother 😅. Them Stud.io instructions are something else
Hmm if we get another movie car, I like to see the Aston Martin Vantage form Johnny English with a Rowing Akition figure.
Okay, that would be amazing!! I love that movie 🤣

Thank you so much!! Yes it turned out to be only two (weirdly just the light bluish gray ones).
But yes, Lego Bee's design work is amazing!
@@onecleverpig only two is better than several! Thats a win. Lol amazing job on the video and build.
I wouldn't mind the 2% of those parts as long as these are fun to build and look good, which they are!
This is true!! And super easy to fix. The designer did a truly amazing job with this moc
6:05 Rod through Technic connectors? LEGO themselves have used it in the recent Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle, so I guess it actually is a legal technique.
Interesting!! Yes I was wondering if that was legal or not. This build uses that technique a lot of times!
It makes for a very sturdy model!

This looks like a Technic nightmare but a sweet build when its completed!
Yes indeed! Technic is a blessing, though, in my opinion. I know some people stay away like the plague, but I love it!

6:15 if you have never commited some crimes against Lego, are you even a proper fan?
I think you're right! We should wear it as a badge of honour!
Interesting build - looks like these Alternative Bricks need some power tools
🤣🤣 tbh there are probably ways to build it that wouldn't require "assistance" but the studio instruction make it challenging at times LOL
I think the Vulcan works in Technic heck in Creator as well but not in Speed Champions well maybe if Bricks Blocks and Mocs and MCG Werks dose it.
Good point! Those two are very talented. It might be fun to try a moc for it in Speed Champions scale, though 🤔
were the axels 3d printed or something? i might just builds this out of my parts collection to be safe.

I wondered how long it would be before you mentioned using a hammer. ROFL. Great video CP.
Thank you, my friend! I was as gentle as I could be 😂 these pieces are tough, fortunately!!
I normally build Gundams but this looks interesting to build. Maybe I'll grab myself one .

I can't even imagine how long it would take to buy 100k bricks. And then storing and cleaning them!?
Omg I hadn't even considered the dusting 🤣🤣🤣 that would be insane
